I have been seeing this posts on Facebook since yesterday and there are things I would like to say.

First, we know its his choice and I respect that. He is also entitled to do anything with his body but I think decisions like this needs to be thought through very well.

The only thing constant in life is CHANGE. Meaning we all change with time. At certain points in our lives we tend to want things we initially said we didnt want in the past.

Like me for example, after getting my B.Sc in 2015, I remember saying I will never go to school again becos getting that B.Sc was so stressful for me. I even had to come back the following year to clear my SIWES and Project Defence before I could collect my B.Sc Degree by hand. I came out with a 2.2 grade and I'm proud of it but I almost swore with sand that I will never study again and I kept on saying it years after that I will never go back to school again. I was done with School for life.

But fast forward 2022, I am already planning on going back to school to start a fresh degree. Some days ago, I was buying some study materials and one spirit said "Remember what you said years ago" and that memory flashed right before my very eyes and I just started laughing.

Bottom line is....
WE AS HUMAN BEINGS CHANGE WITH TIME. NEVER MAKE IRREVERSIBLE DECISIONS.

This man might say he never wants kids now so he goes to get a Vasectomy but what if he decides to change his mind tomorrow but unfortunately he has done a vesectomy which is totally IRREVERSIBLE.

In this life, Never say never!!!

IRREVERSIBLE decisions like this has rendered alot of people sad for the rest of their lives.

He has started regretting doing a vasectomy.

My point is, before you take a drastic decision that can make or mar your life, think about your future. Remember that you might change your mind tomorrow and start craving for things you never wanted.

Women also carry out what they call a TUBECTOMY where they cut out part of the Fallopian tube. Similar to Vasectomy for males where they cut out part of the vas defrens.

At least women carry out insurance policy by freezing their eggs before doing such so incase they want children in future, they use their frozen eggs, get a sperm donor and get a Surrogate to carry their child for them. Simple.

At least men should also be smart too by carrying out an insurance policy by freezing their sperm (if there is anything like that) before a vasectomy so in case they change their mind tomorrow to have kids, they would have something to fall back on.
