No it shouldn't affect your application, I didn't do police report and I also know a few people who didn't either and we have our TRV. Don't fret, you're ok... obiscolly: It's unlikely to affect your application. Several people have gotten TRVs without the police character certificate. You may receive a notification to go for your medical test after your application has been reviewed. Some people however decide to do it before applying to make the process faster. |

Hello Nairalanders, anyone going to Niagara College, I'm preparing to leave in a few weeks for winter session. I opted for landing pad which is home stay for 1 month and I plan to look for accommodation within that 1 month. I prefer to see what I want to rent. If anyone is going to Niagara and is interested in sharing accommodation please holla! Thanks |

Age is not a limitation, I am 42 and I just got my TRV 12th of October. I even rode on my maturity in my SOP and I think it played well. GraceShallom: My people,i have been reading and reading here from the last thread. I am packaging my application for masters. i intend to apply to 4 schools for Sept 2016 entry. i understand its wiser to apply to more than one school from what i read here. Hopefully i should get admission. My bigger concern is with TRV i think.
THis is my profile age 41 undergratduatedegree LL.B 1999 grade 2.1 overall best graduand prize in my graduating class and a few other prizes professional qualification , B.L (second class upper) 2000 Been working mostly since then: 2001 to 2002-nysc law practise 2002-2011 April - banking 2011-2013 March -home affairs issues/pregnancy/nursing mother 2013-date -admin staff in manufacturing company. Cash set aside for LLM 6.5m attachment to Nigeria- my daughter and land
Can anyone comment on chances of getting TRV? I need some encouragement i think.
I am particularly concerned because of age, everyone here seems to be younger, infact far younger. e be like say na me old pass(smiling)
I was actually admitted in U of T as far back as 2001 and also 2002 but could not run d programme because i did not have enough money and was unable to get the schorlarship i sourced for then. so since than i have been working, home resposibilities crept in on me and i kept postponing for one reason or another till now. But i have always desired to go to canada and run my masters programme.
please look into your crystall balls and tell me whats ahead as per TRV or better still those who have any information that may be helpfull or encouraging to me specifically, pls speak to me.
Sincerely yours. |

Hello, So I have been following this thread since part 8 (after I submitted my application) but never commented. I just want to share my journey in order to encourage someone here.
Application submitted online 6th July (Postgraduate Executive Course) Biometrics same day 6th July Medical request 17th September Medical done 28th September (all the public holidays affected me) Took IOM one week to send it! Passport Request 7th October Passport submitted 8th October TRV 12th October Correspondence letter 13th October
I just want to say keep the faith and don't be discouraged, a lot of people who applied after me got their TRV before me but I chose to trust God. My application was for fall 2015 but I have deferred to Winter 2016.
Keep the faith! |
