If Dickson leaves the Party, the election becomes very complicated for PDP. PDP is strong in the state, but there is need for us to take calculated risk. Substituting Dickson would open doors that are currently closed.
Anyway lets see.

I know you're trynna be sympathetic to Mama Piss who is no longer in good terms with Dickson. However, I just have to agree with you. If Timipre Sylva after winning the first Primaries conducted could be relegated by Jonathan simply because he was not in good terms with his wife, then Dickson should also be relegated. Anyway, they should do whatever they like, I'm sure either APGA or APC is gonna defeat whoever is fielded. Because Dickson wouldn't support any other candidate aside him, and Mrs Jonathan alongside her followers wouldn't support Dickson during the Election.
With Dickson or without Dickson, PDP can't be unseated in Bayelsa.

Bayelsa's politics is way too complex, too many knives. I don't think there is anyway Dickson can be substituted, without PDP and APC loosing the state.
Considering the allocation he gets, am disappointed at his performance.
I remember when GEJ visited Bayelsa during his campaign, Dickson was booed by those at the stadium.
With Dickson or without Dickson, PDP would still win Bayelsa.

BT I dnt tink Dias any popular face DAT can be given d ticket my opinion though
His popularity stems from the fact he controls party and state machinery of publicity, take that from him and he's a nobody. Bayelsa is a PDP state, the goodwill of Bayelsians shouldn't be taken for granted, PDP in Bayelsa would short change their people if Dickson remains their candidate.

before they do any of these things, they would first taste the water to know the reaction of people. When the whole anger have being vented, they would now make the announcement. By then, everyone must have being exhausted.

Smh.
The dithering can only be sustained for a time, it won't last forever, Buhari is a former military man, we expect clear cut leadership decisions.
Seems the new administration still relies on the propaganda that got it elected. It can't last forever, questions are being asked now even by ardent supporters of Buhari.
The ongoing indecision and clear cut leadership may end up in Buhari's downfall.

Governor Nyesom Wike ofRivers state and the immediate past first lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan have been accused of a multi-billion naira fraud. The alleged fraudulent activities occurred in the Universal Basic EducationCommission (UBEC) underthe supervision of Wike at the time he was the minister of state for education.READ ALSO: How APC Urges President Buhari To Probe WikeAccording to a group operating under the aegis of Nigeria Against Corruption Group (NACG), itwas alleged that Wike siphoned billions of naira under the UBEC program when he was in charge of the education ministry. The statement issued and signed by the group’s national coordinator, Mr Tayo Olusola, revealed thatWike and the former first lady connived to swindle the billions of naira as the pair sought means of generating funds ahead of last election in the state.“Investigation conducted by us revealed that the Rivers governor and the former first lady, allegedly plundered over N180 billionfrom the UBEC purse using fronts in the commissions office,”the statement madeavailable to Global Village Extra, a US-based online newspaper, read in part. Some sources also confirmed that UBEC programs and contracts during the tenure of Chief Wike as the minister, were used as a facade to loot billions of naira for little or no work done.“But the man who runs the operations on behalf of Wike and directs which account and fund to privilege is Mr. Hama, the so called SA to the executive secretary of UBEC.READ ALSO:Chief Tony Okocha Had His Car Taken Away By Wike’s Order“The SA tag is just a camouflage because the man is the defector Executive Secretary of UBEC. The executive secretary, Dr Dikko dares not take any decision or implement anything without clearance from Mr, Hama who is one of Wike’s enforcers at UBEC.“Any program or project that does not provide an easy avenue for stealing huge sums of money does not get any attention no matter how vital that project may be to the educational system.”The statement also revealed some fraudulent activities carried out by both Wike and Mrs Jonathan which they reportedly used in stealing billions of naira:Teachings:Billions of Naira are stolen each year by arrangement of bogus teaching programs in luxury hotels where little or nothing is achieved but billions of naira are budgeted and wasted as the monies find its way into private pockets. One of such fraudulent teachings schemes that occurred under Mr. Wike is now being investigated by the EFCC.The investigation involves the top management of UBEC and one of the fronts used in siphoning the money but, was not settled according to plan.In the said case, over 100 million naira was siphoned from UBEC for a fraudulent teaching program but, all that took place was a jamboree in a five star hotel.Vocational Schools:Billions of Naira was budgeted for the building ofvocational schools but in most cases not much was done even though huge sums had been disbursed and have vanished under the watchful eyes of Mr. Wike.Instructional Material Funds:This is the biggest fraud that has been going on since the Jonathan administration came into office. During Wike’s tenurealone, over 60 billion was on the dubious supply of free text books to students, but, actual amount of books supplied is not more than N5 billion and the books in usable condition out there in the schools are not up to 200 million worth of books. The free textbooks supply scheme is a perfect cover for high yield frauds because billions of naira is budgeted to address a need that does not exist since parents are already providing these books for their wards. So nobody is clamoring for the books and nobody complains if they are not delivered. More importantlythere is no way of verifying whether the supply was made since there is no standing stock as the books are assumed to be inthe hands of the students. So each year the actual amount committed to supply of textbooks is about 10-15% of the budgeted amount, just for the purpose of launching the scheme in the states, the rest goes into private pockets. That is why the textbook supply is such a favored project in UBEC because everyone from UBEC headquarters to the SUBEBS are settled while the student and our education system are short-changed.The involvement of the former first lady and Gov. Nyesom Wike made the textbook contractors untouchable. So while our schools remain empty without proper learning, theyearly pillage of government money goes on.READ ALSO:Wike Vows To Demote Traditional Rulers Loyal To AmaechiThe group has now called on president Buhari to beam his searchlight on thedefaulting pair and empower the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate and prosecute government officials including former ministers who stole billions of naira during their tenure.Only last week, the education agency asked the governor to return the 15 trucks he used during his campaign prior to his election.

Politics › Re: Aisha Buhari's Brother, Musa Yola, Denies Being Arrested Over N300m Fraud by Mogidi: 6:51pm On Jun 29, 2015
The MODS were quick to push the lie that Buhari ordered the arrest of his in-laws to the front page. Breaking Times already exposed this lie.

By Yemi Adebowale

Contrary to online reports by Sahara Reporters that President Buhari has ordered the arrest of Alhaji Musa Yola, the younger brother to Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, the report is nothing but a publicity stunt to make the President appear tough on corruption a State House correspondent told BREAKING TIMES on condition of anonymity on Monday.

The alleged suspect, named Musa Yola, is said to be the immediate younger brother of Mr. Buhari’s wife. “Please disregard the report. It is a fabrication. Buhari with all his anti-corruption stance does not operate the way they reported the issue. He couldn’t have asked that the alleged scammer be arrested and brought to him in handcuffs in the brazen manner they embellished the report. Buhari allows the security agents to do their job without interference”, our source disclosed.

According to Sahara Reporters, Alhaji Yola “reportedly received N300 million from a businessman after promising to provide his dupe with political access to secure an oil block from the Buhari administration. Mr. Buhari personally ordered last Monday night that Mr. Yola be produced before him in handcuffs in the company of the businessman he duped.”

“This is laughable. Does Alhaji Musa Yola even exist? I doubt the guy they put in that picture is actually him if truly he exists”, another confidential source told BREAKING TIMES.

the problem isn't oyegun ,the problem is the foundation and structure of apc . There is nothing oyegun can do about it , the northern forces are moving in with full force ,it would have been a different case if south apc has like 11 or 12 states then there will be a balance of power within the party but with 16northern state govs against just 4 from the south there is nothing that ooyegun can do to stop the northern apc politicians from brushing tinubu and his yoruba henchmen aside and installing their own structures. They will retain oyegun but many tinubu loyalist will be given the boot. Just as the case is now with pdp, pdp is virtually controlled by the ss and se because they are the ones that have pdp governors
Just can't stand Oyegun, you're right though.
