ladgentle: Na wa for this Barcanista fellow o. Just make sure you are objective in your submissions so that you don't loose credibility. Buhari has not said he will not follow due process. So what's all this furore about due process about? Besides the courts will be handling the trials so anyone involved will have a fair hearing. If you read Barcanista's article, you'd realize he was trying to debunk the lies of the anti-Kukah brigade. Your response here is just tangential, it has no bearing on the issues raised on this thread. |

[s] Achiles: This is a daft defence of open display of support for corruption. I am surprised a man of God will agree to mediate and shield corrupt govt officials. Rev Kukah is one of the wicked souls that think they own Nigeria or has earned the right to spew nonsense. Leave the man alone, let him probe and ensure whoever that stole from us pay back in folds.
You can write whatever you like, defending Kukah and his corrupt crew only portray you as clueless no matter how long your write up.
Nonsense [/s] Bet you never bothered to read the article, go back and read it then debunk the issues raised or else hold your peace. |

bnovative: Believe me, the LYING LIARS are a hypocritical set of people. When the government of Gej informed us that Abubakar Shekau had been killed, they jeered and mocked. They said that the man is still alive ;that Gej should show us Shekau's dead body. But have you noticed that they(the Buharists) have suddenly agreed with GEJ that Abubakar Shekau is no more, and that they are now saying that there is no need for Buhari to show us his corpse ? Have you also noticed that their cry for government to bring back the girls ended on May 29, this year? Can't you see that they are no longer asking government to bring back the girls?? Have you noticed that any call on the government to bring back the girls now infuriate and irritate them? Have you noticed that they are now saying that it is Allah that will bring back the girls 'if at all the girls exist'? Haven't you noticed their stinking hypocrisy If you want to know what hypocrisy looks like, look at the face of a typical buharist. Hypocrisy is written all over it. Suddenly, you are not to talk about the monumental corruption of Babatunde Fashola because 'the court has not yet decided'. But they can continue to talk about the imagined corruption of Hon. Diezani Madueke when the court has not yet decided. They only remember 'innocent until found guilty' when it has to do with Fashola, Amaechi and members of their party. Pharisees!!! Very well reasoned article, nice. |

Buhari is wasting his time going to Bayelsa.Ahead of the December 5 governorship elections in Bayelsa, a foremost Ijaw socio-political organization, The Ijaw Peoples Assembly(IPA), has asked the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to forget contesting the election.
The group, in a statement Monday in Yenagoa and signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Kambowei Daniels, advised the leadership of the APC not to waste its resources because Bayelsa remains a stronghold of the PDP.
“We are by this statement calling on the national leadership of the APC not to dissipate its energy and resources on the December 5 governorship election in Bayelsa State because the incumbent governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson will win the election,” the statement said.
According to the group, plans are already on ground to convene a stakeholders meeting of all Ijaws in Yenagoa to unanimously endorse the candidacy of Governor Dickson for the December 5 election.
The group said that with the backing of prominent Ijaw leaders and key stakeholders who have unanimously endorsed Dickson for a second term, the chances of any opposition against the governor were minimal.
“Having regard to his performance record in the last three years, Governor Dickson deserved to be reelected, that is why we are mobilizing the people of the state to rally support for his re-election,” the statement added.
The group said that a meeting of notable Ijaw leaders and key stakeholders would soon be convened in Yenagoa ahead of the elections, where they would unanimously endorse the candidacy of the governor for the December 5 election.
He said, “Our amiable countryman governor is the pride of the Ijaw nation and given his record of indelible service and various strong conributions to the promotion of pan- Ijaw agenda, our collecive support to reelect him is in the right direction.
“Already, he has been endorsed by virtually all the prominent Ijaw leaders like Pa Edwin Clark, DSP Alamieyeseigha, Prof. Lawrence Ekpebu, Dan Etete and a host of others.
“But very soon, we will all come together to formally endorse the governor to send a clear message of our unity of purpose in this election.”
The statement further stated that the choice of Dickson was a demonstration of Ijaw people’s recognition and reward for good leadership, stressing that Dickson’s stewardship had provided a sound vision for development of the state.
The group said: “The issue is not about the jostling for power as we see in the APC but a realistic vision and able leadership that can lead us to realise our development objectives as a people.
“We have seen that demonsrated by Governor Dickson in the last three years and it is only proper to allow him complete the good projects he started and even do more.”
The statement urged contestants in other parties to step down for Governor Dickson, adding that they would lead a high-powered delegation of Ijaw activists to grace Dickson’s formal declaration for second tenure scheduled for August 28.

APC is a party built on propaganda, the propaganda formula won't stop any time soon.
They're only going to Bayelsa to intimidate the voters. |
