It is the cbn that will copy the finance ministry of the change/redesign of a national currency and not the office of the president
It will be condescending of the office of the president to now copy the minister of finance

Yeah perhaps if the change of currency wasn't related to insecurity , the proper way was to discuss it at the Monetary policy Committee meeting or CBN forward a memo to Finance Minister

This doesn't negate the fact that if Independent CBN decided to work directly with the President neglecting Finance Minister they have not breached any law

Yes they have different roles and in fact, CBN is independent organization.

However, they are expected to work together and collaborate normally on policies to avoid counterproductive results.

On the change of naira some notes, Finance ministry should actually be briefed and prepared.

Since CBN briefed The President directly and he worked directly with the presidency. Finance Minister is just a delegate of the President, then Buhari should had sent a memo to Finance Minister notifying her of his plans or state it at the Federal Executive Meeting
