baba do u know how many security details that are following those cluseless senators, house of reps members, ministers etc yet theres no shortage of policemen. quit thinking like a pessimist. if security details are attached to frsc officials on active duty, there will still be sufficient policemen left to do their jobs. many policemen are idling away in their various police stations. u cant justify giving guns to mentally incapacitated individuals who are popularly known for harassing innocent motorists.

"Mentally incapacitated" road users trying hard to justify why guns shouldn't be given to FRSC officials for self defense. Most road users who know what they are doing won't have problem with this news though.

I have heard severally on the news and also witnessed brutal harassment of security personnel especially FRSC by Driver's Union, thugs among others in their various formations just because they aren't armed.

i bet ur crazed head didnt see this. u looking for a sensible solution dummy, theres one down there

And you called this a solution? If you keep attaching policemen to ever FRSC patrol team, how many policemen will be left to do their own duties?. FRSC is a security outfit, they need to bear arms otherwise why are they called securities if they keep going to the road with just writing pen and papers. we don't need to keep dwelling on this I just hope they are giving arms.

its ur brain dats not working na, the useless training that police got is what made a drunk policeman shoot at a nairalander while he was in his car. the shatterred glass penetrated his skin. the same trainned police officials came to their facebook page to deny that a bullet didnt hit the guy.
u need to debug ur brain

The problem with you guys is, you criticize without coming up with any sensible solution. They need arms to deal with recalcitrant road users like you. QED

guess its obvious something is really wrong with u in ur head. ull tell me whether my post affected any of ur family members or whether i called any of ur family members mentally incapacitated. u cant just come with an insult and leave with a thank u, hell no. u cant eat ur cake and have it dummy
since u empathise with them let me make it easy for u. so the mentally unstable trigger happy policemen that shoot at people and call it accidental discharge are ur relatives right? or are u related to the frsc offical that harrassed a lady thinking she had incomplete papers then when she tried taking his pictures he slapped the phone fone off her hands and started insulting her? is it this kind of person ull be glad to have a gun handed over to? maybe its ur family thats filled with mentally incapacitated lots

They need arms to deal with "mentally incapacitated" people like you on the road. I owe no apology for using that word cos I borrowed it from you. How can a responsible citizen call FRSC personnel mentally incapacitated? They are human being for God sake, they are peoples husbands, brothers, sisters. I don't even have time but pleáse criticize constructively whenever issues like these are up for debate better keep quite.

What papers do road safety have the right to ask for apart from Driver's license. Please we want to learn.

Google FRSC Establishment Act 2007 and National Road Traffic Regulation Act 2012. I hope these will help.

What skill and training set do they have to be carrying firearms? They are useless and shameless able body men. They should be merged with police.

Won't they be trained? Even the police and army that bear arms weren't they trained? This recession has really affected some people's brain oh. Senseless posts every page you open these days. May God help us

It is over due, it is a good development cos the embarrassment these people is too much, for instance there was an incident that happen in Osun, they arrested some vehicles for overloading and the motorists went back to their garage and mobilize themselves that they want to go and teach the FRSC lesson cos they know that they don't ave anything to defend themselves and they went damage most of their vehicles and those arrested from motorists and most of the staff sustained different degree of injuries. Kudos to their boss for the courage action, u can't call urself a security agency that can't defence itself, wat are u secure?. It is a very good developmet

Never knew reasonable people like you are still on Nairaland. God bless you bro

the next one is to give lastma firearms. what a crazed country. as old as all the idiots heading the various law enforcement agencies, none of them could think of attaching a few policemen to the frsc operatives? this is just grossly irritating. is it until these mentally incapacitated individuals carrying guns in the name of frsc kill all nigerians b4 someone will reverse such an order?
i see how frsc guys operate, they stop vehicles at random big o small o fine o ugly o, delay them with paper checking, we all know it ends in settlement. fucking corrupt bastarrds

Funnily, when any of these agencies open their portal for ecruitment "mentally incapacitated" people of your kind will crash their sites trying to apply. Just imagine that your relative happened to be one of those 70 personnel that were killed this year. Do unto others as you would want them to do to you.
And lastly, because internet is free doesn't guarantee you to insult people as their are still good people in these organizations Thank you.

Typical wailer! Gej remains a dunce. Buhari was honored long before he became president. The whole world knows buhari as an upright man with high integrity and morals. Unlike the moronic Jonathan that was looking how to pay for handshake with the America president, Buhari was hosted to a state dinner. There is no greater recognition than that!

Please who honoured the NEPA Bill holder? May be the Miyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association. Nonsense.

This ineffectual buffoon and his minions will not cease to amuse me.

You lost election despite known attempts at rigging the outcome. You knew you had no choice else you become another Gbagbo or Samuel Doe. So, you had no choice to concede the election you lost.

Besides, you're not the first person to concede a lost election as a sitting president even in Africa. That honor goes to Aden Abdullahi of Somalia who first conceded in 1967. Many others such as Kenneth Kaunda (1991), Wade of senegal (2012) conceded before the Otuoke useless man too.

grin

This your ineffectual buffoon of a slang is stale bro! Only the weak still use it. Why don't you guys just accept the fact that and console yourselves that you made a wrong choice in Buhari. funnily, only a particular set of region have refused to accept that they were deceived. Get a life and struggle to keep your self relevant in this recession.
