Climate change has happened and is real. The year in my country of residence is black Christmas 🎄. It is usually white Christmas 🎄 but we bearly had any snow on the ground.

I’m currently in the South East, and normally by late November we would have started feeling harmattan — cooler weather, dry air, dusty breeze, at least some signs.

But now, just a day to Christmas, everywhere is still hot. No harmattan breeze, no dryness, no dusty mornings. It honestly feels more like February or March than December.

This feels very unusual to me. In all my years on earth, I can’t remember a December like this.

Nigerians problem is that, when someone voice out a concern about what our leaders or direction the country is going...We immediately jump into tribe or politics instead of the message. It's all of us job to see that Nigeria works for all because we have no other country than Nigeria. The message or the voice that speaks out is irrelevant - We owe it within ourselves to critique the message for the truth and hold the person irrespective of tribes or political affliction. A better Nigeria is good for all.

In western world - citizens vote their choice of leaders. But when they get elected into office it doesn't matter if your choice is voted in or not. The position he/she holds touches all and it is the responsibility of all to see that the elected leader is serving the interest of all.

Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup have reportedly been reignited following claims that DR Congo may be expelled from the competition for fielding ineligible players.

In November, DR Congo defeated the Super Eagles on penalties to secure Africa’s ticket to the Intercontinental Playoffs for a place at the 2026 World Cup.


However, reports suggest they could face sanctions from FIFA ahead of the playoffs, expected to take place in March 2026.


According to the reports, six DR Congo players who switched nationality allegedly failed to complete the required eligibility process. It is claimed they did not formally renounce their previous citizenships, a key requirement given that DR Congo does not recognise dual nationality.


Further allegations state that several players who featured in the playoff match were over the age of 21, yet still held passports from other countries, rendering them ineligible under FIFA regulations.

“The chances of the petition against DR Congo succeeding are even stronger than when South Africa were docked three points and three goals for fielding an ineligible player against Lesotho,” SCORENigeria quoted.


“A petition has been submitted against DR Congo concerning the eligibility of several players who featured in the World Cup Playoffs in Morocco.

“There is still hope for the Super Eagles, provided the Intercontinental Playoffs in Mexico have not been played.”

Good morning Nairalanders, Please there's this issue that has been bothering me for a while now. There's this lady whom I met and have been dating for about 3 years now.
