IF ONLY INEC is FULLY INDEPENDENT it will shock many politicians with the outcome in 2027. Everyone has just ONE vote. IF EVERYONE IS ALLOWED TO FREELY CAST THEIR VOTE BASED ON THEIR CHOICE WITHOUT INTIMIDATION. IT WON'T MATTER WHICH PARTY YOU BELONG BUT IT WILL BE BASED ON CHOICE BY THAT INDIVIDUAL VOTER.
JUMPING OR CHANGING YOUR POLITICAL PARTY WON'T MATTER.
kay29000: I raise local chickens on a small poultry farm in my compound.
For months, two cats (mother and son) have been disturbing me on my mini poultry farm. There was a particular night they killed 7 small chickens at a go. They don't even kill one and go, they break their necks one by one, and then come back to drag the dead bodies to their den.
We tried a big trap that hunters use for bush rat. It almost closed one of the cats in on the first night, but the cat, struggled out before the stuff shut. The cats never went near the trap again, even though we always use their best food as bait, fried fish.
After a while, we decided to start using poison at different points of the compound. I had given up hope till this morning. I was looking for something in our gen house and I saw one of the cats their (the son), laying there, breathing heavily. I couldn't believe my eyes. At a point, it had felt like we were never going to win with them, sort of like how Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer felt in the movie, The Ghost and the Darkness, where lions were terrorizing a community in Kenya in the movie.
Anyway, within an hour, it took its last breath. Too bad I can't give the OPC guys at my junction who tried to catch it with a cage. They would have eaten it, but with it dying of poison, they can't eat it.
Attached are some pics of the cat. The chickens gathered around, making loud noises as they watched the lifeless body of the cat that ate their children and siblings and tormented their life for many months.

Terrorism trail starts for former athlete turned politician in Finland today. News feed by yle.fi.
Simon Ekpa, a former local councillor from Lahti, appeared before the Päijät-Häme District Court on Friday to face terrorism-related charges in a preparatory hearing.
Ekpa is accused of participating in a terrorist organisation and publicly inciting crimes for terrorist purposes. Prosecutors allege that he has been actively involved in a separatist movement seeking independence for the so-called Biafra region in southeastern Nigeria. The prosecution argues that the activity, conducted online and coordinated from Finland, may constitute terrorism under Finnish law.
Prosecutors are demanding a six-year prison sentence for Ekpa.
“We have a great deal of evidence regarding this individual's online activity and communications," said state prosecutor Sampsa Hakala.
The prosecution, however, acknowledged that obtaining detailed information about the alleged terrorism-related acts is difficult, as they are believed to have taken place in Africa.
During the pre-trial hearing on Friday, Ekpa's lawyer, Kaarle Gummerus, also raised concerns about the reliability of information coming from Nigeria. Finnish police have investigated the case together with Nigerian authorities.
During police interviews, Ekpa denied the charges, which also included suspicions of ordering weapons for pro-Biafra groups. The district court is also examining allegations of aggravated tax fraud.
Born in Biafra, Ekpa moved to Finland in 2007 as an athlete. He has been a member of the National Coalition Party (NCP) and served on Lahti's public transport board.

DyshApp: UK-based Nigerian woman, Uloma Nwogu, has recounted a distressing experience involving the father of her children, whom she claims reappeared after years of absence and attempted to use her as a route into the United Kingdom.
Uloma revealed in a post on Facebook that she relocated to the UK two years ago with her children after raising them alone for six years. She described the journey as both physically and mentally draining, stating that the stress of single-handedly raising children in a foreign land led to her developing high blood pressure.
According to Uloma, the children’s father resurfaced in January this year through a Facebook message, expressing a sudden desire to reconnect with the children.
After a series of conversations, he proposed to be included in her visa application and, in return, offered to reimburse her for the children’s school fees from the past six years.
What about those holding government positions, politicians, men/women in uniform squeezing and stealing money one-way and the other...What kinda of shame have brought to Nigeria?
Not defending anyone. You do the crime, you pay for it. It should not be selective or status. CRIME OS CRIME...AND IT IS BAD!!!

Building a formidable political coalition is both a strategic and relational endeavor. It involves uniting diverse groups around shared goals while managing competing interests. Here's a high-level roadmap:
1. Define a Clear, Unifying Goal
Anchor around a core message: Whether it’s policy change, electoral victory, or institutional reform, the coalition must rally around a compelling, emotionally resonant cause.
Appeal across boundaries: The goal should resonate with different political identities, regions, or social groups.
2. Map Stakeholders and Power Centers
Identify key actors: Political parties, grassroots movements, labor unions, business interests, advocacy groups, religious leaders, etc.
Assess motivations and influence: Know who has what to gain or lose, and what resources (votes, money, credibility, media) they control.
3. Build Trust Through Relationship Management
Engage in coalition diplomacy: Meet stakeholders on their turf. Listen, empathize, and identify common interests.
Establish norms: Use transparent processes, shared decision-making, and mechanisms for conflict resolution.
Use trusted intermediaries: Sometimes indirect communication through respected figures helps avoid friction.
4. Design a Flexible but Cohesive Structure
Core leadership + peripheral allies: Keep a stable core but allow looser involvement from less-aligned but useful partners.
Create working groups: Break down work into manageable tasks (e.g., messaging, mobilization, legal strategy, etc.).
Share benefits: Ensure coalition members see tangible value—appointments, policy wins, visibility.
5. Craft a Compelling Narrative
Bridge ideological gaps: Frame issues in ways that speak to different worldviews (e.g., climate action as both environmental justice and economic opportunity).
Avoid polarizing language: Use inclusive rhetoric to avoid alienating potential allies.
6. Mobilize and Demonstrate Power
Grassroots activation: Engage people through rallies, petitions, social media, town halls.
Electoral or institutional leverage: Use votes, endorsements, or procedural tools to pressure opponents or gain legitimacy.
Show momentum: Public wins build credibility and attract new members.
7. Anticipate and Manage Internal Conflicts
Define red lines vs. negotiables: What’s non-negotiable for each group? Where is compromise possible?
Have a crisis management plan: Disputes are inevitable. Be ready to mediate and preserve unity.
8. Adapt and Evolve
Continuously reassess: Coalitions must adapt to shifting political landscapes.
Institutionalize where possible: If long-term, develop enduring structures (e.g., joint councils, regular summits).
--- They should reference the like historical case study (e.g., ANC, Indian National Congress, the New Deal coalition) to illustrate how this works in practice.

The incident allegedly took place at a political gathering where the former governor tried to promote his new party, the APC to the female electorate but was rebuked by the visibly angry women who wanted nothing to do with the APC.
He might have tried to STEAL IT for his woman... Well Westin mi know...na to sitdon read comments.
GistMedia0: A hefty young man has landed in hot water after he was caught allegedly stealing an iPhone 14 Pro Max in Abuja. The incident, which reportedly occurred at a popular gadget store in the city, has left many in shock given the size and demeanor of the suspect.
According to eyewitnesses, the man had pretended to be interested in purchasing the premium Apple device but allegedly made a run for it when the shop attendant was distracted. Fortunately, security operatives and nearby bystanders were able to apprehend him before he could flee the scene.
Videos of the incident have since gone viral, with many Nigerians reacting to the boldness of the act and questioning how he thought he could outrun anyone unnoticed given his large frame.
It is sad that you and your friends had to suffer that ordeal. I can relate with fact that back home you fight to get the VISA and outside you fight to PROVE YOUR INNOCENCE.
Well, in my opinion this could quickly change outsiders view of us. If ACCOUNTABILITY, JUSTICE AND RULE OF LAWS ARE MAINTAINED BY ALL... regardless of your status.
More publicity should be put out there that shows evil is instantly punished and justice is served swiftly regardless of your status. Those bad eggs committing crimes outside our shores...The government should also enact laws to punish them as well on the deportation back home or arrival home.
Zero tolerance for crime, corruption, injustice... should be motto Nigeria diplomacy abroad. Things will start changing and Nigerian gaining the RIGHT RECOGNITION AND RESPECT SHE DESERVES.
Dis one case with EFCC done close. Abi wetin dey go on with that case... Nigeria is a scam( Audio persecution of the rich and affluence. While most common citizens riot in injustice)
