Frankielilbaby:Mine is UofO. How may I learn from you? |
I learnt on this platform that family problem no dey finish. We have very similar issue, but I have conquered what you just claimed to be an issue. I want you to know that your wife loves you, and you should try to understand that. Here is what I did. 1. I called her and explained how this is hurting me in all ramifications, plus the fact that my own family does not do that even though they have every right like hers. I told her talk to her people, cos if I do, it might escalate into something else, and my own family will support me in this. 2. We agreed to buy a landed property, there we pool our resources. If I am trying to do pass myself, she will be the one to remind me of our target. I believe this should give you peace. Please don't use strong face as others might have advised you, those gluttons today could feed millions tomorrow. Only God knows tomorrow. Peace. |
I just have to type this out to encourage someone who might need it. I use to be a teacher and I quite understand the plight of the young male teachers. If you are reading this, the first thing you have to do is to change your mentality. If you look critically, most of these teachers are females with less financial responsibilities. I decided to switch into freelance academic writing. The money I make for a single project is more than my monthly salary. I have to quit when it seems I'm too 'big' for the management. Too big I mean coming late and the rest. You can't keep doing same thing and expect the same result. If you can read this, you have everything you need to quit teaching. |
Business is good, not with bad partners. You should make this more professional since you have known the kind of guy your client is. I meant you start small with funds that will not mean so much to you, even if he doesn't pay. Just do your best, such that you will know that he will come back. Back to the main issue, don't make this messy, you will loose out eventually. Here is how to get your money back, with interest. a. Inform the guy that he should acknowledge the fact that he still owe you some funds. b. Let him know that you are ready for more jobs, and particularly interested in getting referrals from him. Tell him that he could even get free jobs for the referrals. c. Ask for the deadline of submission in his time zone. d. Give updates about the task to proof that you are in it. The update should be 30% e. Just lock up till he starts disturbing you about the project. Then you can seek for your money and provide the file. Some of them can lie about the deadline, their urgency and persistence will enable you to know the truth. f. You can even seek for ecsrow services. However, you have to be extremely careful. I hope this help. |
I can feel your pain. I had similar experience, although mine was in Ibadan. Don't give up. Visit the Kwara post office and show them your attached file. Better still, seek to get the contact of an officer in Lagos from any one that attend to you at Kwara. |
Pls I need the Upwork account. Do send me a mail at codedpaul@yandex.com |
I understand your pain bro. I was in your shoe but not exactly the same story. My advice is this, don't fight a war you can't win. You will lose this. Stick with the plan with your mum. You are the guy here, don't sell your family so cheap. I guess you feel you will fund the whole wedding ceremony from your end, don't take fake blessings from your mum. Be a man! |
lacasera14:orosten5561@outlook.com thanks in anticipation. |
