BMathew: Following...... Try to get water inside a bowl and place it very close. Also, each time you turn, the part that you want to change from must be marked it charcoal (*). So that you won't continually put one side while the other side not growing.... Note: hole you're very sure the eggs were fertilized, hope you confirm that?
My input... Thanks. Yea. They are fertilised. |

Roses1759: I watched several egg hatch videos on YouTube too so there is something am not seeing in your DIY incubator, and that's a plate or bowl of water to control humidity in the incubator.
* Remember to turn the eggs at least three times daily.
Well done, keep us updated. Oh. Thanks for the observation. |

Mrkumareze: Bring the layer Turkey for Christmas rice. That's my own Contribution . As for the egg, I would advise u take it to poultry where they have the right machines for incubation ..remember harmattan has started gradually, u may not have the required heat to hatch the eggs in your room In fact the layers are misbehaving with eggs since January. So, am eating them this Christmas. I will try again by January. |

BoluwGoldenFarm: You're doing well bros
Failure is part of experience in life.
Ducklings can only be allow to swim in water after they grow certain feathers otherwise they with die. Better allow them off swimming water for 4-6 weeks
Good work well done.

Good evening all. I lost all my little ducklings to cold as a result of the water they entered in the pix above.
Just because I love to raise ducks too, I bought another set of 5 ducklings (1 week old) to replace them last week on the 17th. Nov. Lesson is learnt now.
I will upload their pix below. I will be updating the thread on their growth. |
