Nice. The furniture make over idea is brilliant. 'Wish I could do it myself. Any tip Monickerless?
Sure you can. Here is a basic guide. This tutorial is for real wood furniture and not laminate wood.
Materials needed:
Soap
Medium and fine grit sandpaper
Paint brush
Primer
Top coat(the glossier the paint finish, the more easier it is to clean the furniture)
Furniture wax or any other type of furniture seal

Procedure:
1) Prep your furniture. Clean it with soap and a piece of cloth
2) Sand the wood to get rid of any glossy finish and so that the paint can stick to the wood
3) Prime the surface with a primer that corresponds with the type of paint you want to use
4)Sand the surface again
5) Apply your topcoat in any colour of your choice using a paint brush. You may need to apply more than one coat and let it dry.
6) seal your furniture with furniture wax to protect the surface. You can apply this with a piece of cloth
7) leave your furniture to dry and cure for about two days.

1) Paint. Painting your wall(or anything) is the cheapest way to transform and beautify your space. The fun thing is that painting isn't rocket science and it doesn't require any special skill. Paint a lovely pattern on your wall or simply paint one wall a different color to accentuate it.

Nairaland GeneralThings To Consider When Decorating Your Space by monickerless(op): 5:12pm On May 24, 2016
Interior Decoration isnt rocket science neither do you always need a specialist to plan out your space for you. Here are a few things to put into consideration for anyone(literally anyone) who wants to decorate his/her space:

1) Have a budget: It is most crucial to always have a budget. It may or may not be a specific amount of money you're willing to spend, but a budget range is very important. This helps to check off any excesses. Working without a budget may make you keep buying stuffs that your space may not need. Just because you have some extra cash to buy 40 flower pots does not necessarily mean you should. So, draw up a budget and stick to it most importantly.

2) Less is more: Usually people think the formula for having a beautiful space is LoB is directly proportional with AoS, where LoB is Level of Beauty and AoS is Amount of Stuffs. This is totally wrong!!! Your living room doesnt have to look like a Decor store or a musuem. Stick with simple pieces that would make a bold statement, display less family photos and accessories, buy adequate furniture(not more than you need) and always remember to keep it simple

3) Reflectiveness: When designing your space, always keep it in mind that you"ll be the one living there. Let your design theme reflect your personality. Dont just go with the trend. Create your own style that reflects who you are. Are you a fan of the oldies? Then go for antique furnitures or pieces or are you a very bubbly person, then go for a wallpaper with smileys all over it(just kidding) . But always keep it in mind that your space shouldn't conflict who you are. Show me your space and i'll tell you who you are.

4) Patience: It is very essential to be patient, not just in interior decor but in everything you do. Don't rush. Take time to find out what's in the market, check the internet for inspiration, talk to friends or seek out an expert's opinion. Decorating your space isnt as simple as picking out a dress to wear to dinner cos if you don't like the dress you picked you can easily change it. But when it comes to interior decoration, you have to take time out to be sure that you have the right furniture, you pick the right wallpaper or rug and what nots. Remember you can't just decide to change your sofas 2days after you bought them just because you saw something better.

5) Functionality: This is a very important thing to consider. A beautiful space is not just about the auesthetics but it also entails functionality. Most people always make the mistakes of picking the aesthetical value of a thing over its utility. A coffee table should always be able to hold at least a cup of coffee so don't just go with any kind of coffee table just because it has a nice design. And importantly for small spaces, make sure that the things you buy serve more than one purpose. For example, you could buy an ottoman with inbuilt storage, or the ottoman could serve as a foot stool and an extra seating

With these tips, i believe that just about anyone would be able to create something soothing, appealing and relaxing yet purposeful. Be creative and open your mind to new ideas but dont forget to keep it simple and cost effective at the same time

Please review my work
LiteratureA Peek At Simon by monickerless(op): 5:49pm On Dec 15, 2015
The first roof was red. The next one was concrete, with three people carrying things onto it. The next building was under construction, the higher parts like the root of a tree, the grassy ground around it covered in leaves like the apex of the tree and everything in-between like the trunk. Suddenly there were too many buildings to notice, all getting too small to observe at the same time. As the helicopter went higher, Frank felt the grip on his arm tighten and the steel of the barrel thrust harder against his back.
“Time to talk” Simon said. His croaky voice was hard to hear over the beating of Frank’s heart. Simon pulled open the door of the helicopter and waved to the pale man who held Frank. The pale man pushed Frank off his seat and on his knees next to the door; his placed one of his powerful hands on Frank’s left shoulder and placed the barrel of his pistol on the back of Frank’s head.
Frank closed his eyes as the cold wind blew on his face. His head throbbed. He felt Simon’s warm breath on his neck.
“Open your eyes boy” Simon instructed, pulling his nose. Frank obeyed instantly.
”Everything you see is mine, and if you had bowed to me I would have given you dominion over it, but you didn’t; you decided to insult me with stupid, childish words”.
The pale man bent Frank’s head closer to the door, closer to the edge. Frank shut his eyelids tight at the sight of the metal floor and the city far below it. He wished he hadn’t said Simon was “all huff and no puff, more like a powder puff than the big bad wolf he wants the whole world to believe he is”, on television. He wished he seen Simon have his own girlfriend ruined for disrespecting him earlier than that morning. He now understood that Simon was more than the big bad wolf, Simon was the roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
As the door slid shut, and the cold wind stopped blowing in his face Frank opened his eyes and looked at Simon, turning his head slowly to avoid a accident with the gun on his head.
“I’m sorry Simon, I swear I’m sorry”. His voice shivered on his behalf as tears dropped from his eyes. “I’ll do whatever you want; I’ll leave if you say so I’ll...”
“Shut up” Simon cut him off “Of course you’re sorry Frankie; you always have been a sorry excuse for a human being. Searching for a reason to live aren’t you? Well I have a reason to let you live.”
The pale man pushed Frank onto the seat beside Simon. Frank turned and looked at Simon’s cold face, he had been too scared to notice the seats by the door earlier.
“I used to like you boy, I might like you again one day if you act accordingly” Simon said, fishing a piece of folded paper out of his pocket. “The first step you should take is putting your signature on this right here”. The pale man held out a pen, he had put away his pistol.
Frank grabbed the pen and then the paper and signed, his hand moving furiously over the paper.
“Good choice boy, that’s the way to negotiate; get the upper hand before you offer terms” he folded the piece of paper back into his pocket. “Meet my new bodyguard Galt, pilot take us to my lawyers’ ”.
As the helicopter descended Frank felt his heart slow down and his head get heavier. Simon had exposed his girlfriend Penelope “Petal” Paul’s past history of prostitution and provided incriminating evidence that her doctor father had been involved in importation and distribution of inferior drugs for years, just because he found out she referred to him as “the perv” when texting with her friends. She had been promptly relieved of her official duties at the bank where she worked, and her family was put in ruins when her father was arrested. He had disrespected Simon because he thought Simon could do nothing to help her until earlier that day when his friend Mia told him Simon had been bribing the authorities double what Dr Jonathan Paul offered them. He knew he had been spared for a reason he was not very eager to find out.
Simon lit a cigarette and looked out of the window, Frank looked out too. The first roof he saw was red.

its been 18 years since then. he took ill and was just months old then. and after the nurse injected him, he couldn't move for some couple of weeks(not sure if its weeks or months). i'll share a pic of the injection wound. in addition, the injection was administered on his left arm and i'm the one guessing its an intramusclular injection cos it seems like the only explanation for his limping but i'll also like to know if there are other explanations of a baby not being able to move and then later limping due to an injection administration error? here's a pic of the wound
