Maybe even if he had been shortlisted out before, he would have caught someone's eye as unusually honest and gotten a second chance had he returned the money, especially if they ever had the need to replace someone who declined the APL later.

Or maybe if he had been shortlisted before and he was noted as having kept silent about being sent TFare twice, he could have been disqualified on that basis esp. if d role he applied for had anything to do with handling sensitive info/resources.

Some of them might be lying... Trust me.. Assuming there were no theories as regard the payment then a lot of people might have been honest, but due to the presence of theories some people have decided to sit on the fence as regards the status of payment.. The few ones that are responding honestly are just brave and sincere.

What my brain tells me is that, there is a strong relationship between TF and APL. Believe, disbelieve or stay indifferent is your choice.

Everyone will be paid eventually...You should rather be worried if you are not paid when others getting theirs ..This has nothing to do with APL!!!

I dont know if any one has been paid in this platform for 3rd.
But I have someone, not on Nairaland anyway.
He is 3rd July.
Received his payment during the 1st batch (16th August).
He was even the one that told me of NNPC TF payment, which got me worried over mine. I then joined this thread in search for answers..

Did my interview on 3rd of July and was paid on 16th July

Oga ur ideas are skewed. U haven't obviously attended several interviews or recruitment exercises. No iota of experience in all the crap u have been spewing all day long.

The tfare is the least u can get out from a recruitment exercise if u dnt get the job and it is not a right. It's a base everybody may get. The normal trend is if u dnt get, u have a higher chance of getting the job.

When u have gathered experience on how dis things work u can talk. Just be silent and watch.

Well, on a lighter note.
It’s not unlikely that Nnpc might have paid unsuccessful candidates transportation allowance as some sort of consolation. Any industry that wants to maximize profit can employ that strategy. I mean why pay your soon employees an itsy bitsy stipend when you are about to absorb them.
Then comes the thought of payment by batch. It doesn’t add up. I mean! It’s Nnpc. They are not lacking funds. So why send in batches.
From my Analysis, it seems quite a majority on Nairaland have not received payment yet. You should not be surprised. The interview tips shared here was a great enlightenment and i promise you, quite a majority of Nairalanders would get this job as we all braved for the impact hence we were not taken by surprise despite the dynamics of the questions.
You would be shook by how many non Nairalanders have received the transport fare. Actually, everyone that did the interview I know of have been paid. So?
But again, these are just logical deductions.
Do not be afraid if you have been paid and Do not rejoice if you have not been paid.
There’s a thin line between the love letter and appointment letter.
Hold on to your Faith. There’s nothing sweet like Grace. Even if Nnpc actually sent out to unsuccessful candidates, you can still be called because of Grace. The exception to every rule of law.

Wrote the six in skills this diet. Cleared foundation last diet.

Just 6marks(tax) prevented me from progressing to Professional level .

So it's very very possible... I almost did it.... U can do it!

Attempted the 6 in skills level... Passed 5 and failed 1(taxation)....thanks to this forum for all the updates..
