Honestly this Nigerian movie present politician versus past politicians dey sweet to watch
yaxx:
Former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has hit back at human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) for linking her with the arms procurement scandal involving the Office of the National Security Officer (ONSA).

In a reaction to a call by Falana for her prosecution for crimes against humanity, Okonjo-Iweala described the senior lawyer as an Integrity Challenged Charlatan who embarked on a smear campaign against her for hurting the corrupt interest of his friends and sponsors.

No the problem is she is emasculating him, encouraging him to be lazy

And like the yorubas will say koni ironu so onwa bekunbekun

Because he knows his wife will take care of all their financial needs .

She is trying to help but she is wearing his pants
fellis:
Lmao
See suffer head first.
Ok so the fact that she is assisting her husband with money is now a problem? If she no give am they will start shouting that women should assist financially because times are hard.
Endless confusion.

@OP, I don't believe that story abeg. These facebook copy and paste tales are usually made up.
FamilyRe: HELP! Her Husband Spends Her Money On His Side Chick by MoonChildng: 7:22am On Jan 23, 2016
How low can a man stoop.
However you should read the book Fascinating Woman by Helen Andelin.
You have swapped roles with your husband and emasculated him, making him feel like your boy that you are taking care off just cos he doesn't have a job ,you bought him a car,pay the house rent.

Of course he needs to be a man to someone to boost his Ego,someone to make him feel special, someone he can spend money on(whether is money or your money) all na money.
All because you want to maintain status quo .

When the landlord comes fold your arms both of you be looking at yourselves ,if he says anything ask him that you guys should move to an apartment he can afford.

Be submissive ,quiet,no quarrels but say you got no money even if nah room and parlour he can afford ,you'll move into it with him

Na wah.....until people stop making all this spiritualist and men of gold important ans start trusting that God speaks to us all and guides us per time.

No prophet told David to use a stone and a sling,it was the Holy-Spirit or his guardian Angel that instructed him on what to do and he did and he succeeded.

We need to start trusting our guts, our instincts ,our guardian Angel only then will we stop falling prey to all this vagabonds using God's name to deceive people....

Google knows a lot, research google, pray meditate connect with God directly and very soon these so called mogs and spiritualist will no longer have anyone to mess around with

Cry cry so well that your body shakes . Then tell yourself this to shall pass.
Afterwards look into the mirror and remind yourself of very tough times you scaled thru and tell yourself .
I will survive even this , I am enough, it's his loss not mine

Immerse yourself in a passion .

Sing , go out on the morning and breathe in fresh air

jayfolarin:
I'v wanted to write this article for over 2 months but its discouraging thinking about the number of points i need to raise to support my claims! NIGERIANS WANT THE BEST THINGS BUT NEVER WANT TO PAY FOR IT!! HOW ON EARTH DO YOU WANT YOUR COUNTRY TO DEVELOP?!

Quick question; Imagine government fixes Nigeria's issues of electricity and internet with other basic amenities today, Who here would be willing to pay an annual rent of N1million for a single room (Not one bedroom flat oo) in a city like Ado-Ekiti and N3million for the most average single room (shared toilet and bathroom with at least one other person e.g face me, I face you houses) in a city like Lagos?! Note: This is just basic rent and is therefore without utility bills such as Electricity, Heating, Water, Garbage, Internet etc that averages about another N900,000 yearly.

I couldn't stop shaking my head at the gullibility of some Nigerians as i read the various comments on the N50 bank charges thread. That is what? 2cents charge on banking transactions that does not even include savings account that most of the commenters use oo! Even South Africa reportedly demands that you pay an equivalent of N500 for deposits into your own account (Savings or Current)! Where I live, you are demanded to pay an equivalent N4,200 in charges for deposit into another's account if you aren't a customer of the bank!

Nigeria has the lowest VAT tax in the world and i'm sure y'all will take to the streets in protests if this is ever increased! I pay N1,500 in charges for every ATM interbank withdrawal of an equivalent of N10,000 and you all couldn't stop screaming at the N65 naira (after 3rd transaction) that was introduced by the CBN last year! Haba Nigerians!! You want to live 'comfortably' like Americans and Europeans but aren't ready to pay the price! Who does that sh*t! One of the major reasons why you don't enjoy goodies is because because you haven't had to pay enough taxes. It is partly a reason why the government doesn't feel very responsible to the people as well. Oil is not anyone's property anyways.

I really can't remember the last time i visited an hospital but i'm mandated to pay an equivalent of N23,000 monthly for health insurance! Would you be willing to pay such amount for the sake of development in the health care sector in Nigeria?! I don't think so but you would be the first to take pictures for nairaland about the pitiable state of one hospital in your city!

You want the best Infrastructures in the world but have never paid taxes from your businesses! Some people would rather close up shop than pay the most basic tax to the government! How on earth do you expect any development if you aren't ready to help government with funds? Nigeria is not the only country with oil, we don't even have as much as Russia but expect to get everything for free because there's oil in the land! What would y'all have done if you didn't have anything but rocks and granite? you would expect the government officials to use their personal incomes to develop the country first and then see if you like it or not before you decide to pay?! I no pity your destiny!

Nowhere in the world is mobile internet data cheap, Nigerians automatically feel they are being ripped off by mobile operators who use the same infrastructure that's being deployed everywhere else! For a 2gb mobile internet data allowance from T-mobile, I pay N5,000 monthly, This is not even close to what Nigerians get from the mobile operators but they scream to the heavens still. Agreed, cable/ADSL, wired internet is cheaper but you cant blame this on the telecom industries, Government should make provisions for that! But again, how many persons would not scream 'Rip off' if you all are asked to pay a mandatory internet fee ranging in thousands of Naira every month

From food to clothings, transportation, even prostitutes (Girls in brothels here charge at least 12k for a quickie, Don't ask me how i know grin), Nigerians live on the cheap and want to keep up with the expensive! No! It doesn't work that way! You have to pay for developments that leads to a robust economy which in turn leads to higher standard of living (Job creation, Increment in Minimum wage, Good roads, healthcare facilities etc)..

God never despises a genuinely repentant heart

Strahovski:
I don't know where to post but since this is my active section I post here. So mods please move to correct section.

Today someone post about our excuse for our sins if God suddenly comes. That thread made me remember my greatest sin. Like I mentioned on that thread. I have not committed adultery as I'm the most faithful of all time. Neither have I stolen or fornicated. My only sin is a LIE I told to save my friend.

Flashback!!! My friend did something. He actually did it. He raped a 12 year old orphan girl and in our place it's death sentence for a man to rape a woman let alone 12 year old. He was drunk. We went to this party and he drank too much. Both of us were walking to our car so I drive him home then we saw this little girl. Even at 12 she looked 21 so perhaps my friend in his drunkenness over the wine got carried away and went after her. I tried to stop him but u could not. Right he front of me be hurt the little girl and someone caught him ad called it in.

We were both arrested. The person confirmed I was innocent that it's my friend who did it. But my father once worked in the Navy before retirement into private business, so alot of the police and law officials in our town know me very well. So they said I should give testimony in court of what i saw. I looked at my friend this is friend since childhood. This is friend that taught me how to use the swing. This is friend who taught me how to write my first code of programming to which I'm I'm a veteran now in programming. I cannot just throw him out the window. Then I said to my said elf "The devil you know is better than the angel you do not know"

I told the court the woman who saw us lied!!! That it was another man (actually her fiancé) who was with her that committed the crime and she want to protect hin. I said it with authority and confidence even I believed it to be true.

And like I said my father has reputation in the law enforcement so the judge said that based on the reputation of my father n the country (a navy chief) my words do hold water and the court will take it as true. Another lady (my wife now) backed me up. Perhaps she liked me. Said she was also there. That it wasn't my friend.

Long story short, the innocent man who was to marry his woman faced the death sentence just because i lied to protect my friend. My wife lied too (to support me) but she is fine with it. I was even discussing this with hr this morning that I'm feeling guilty now. She said I should forget it that people die everyday. That sometimes people have to be sacrificed to save another. She is just cool like it's nothing but I keep seeing flashes of the woman when she cried and her fiancé was taken away for what he did not do. It's driving me crazy

Please nairaland what do you think is the right thing I do?

No jokes here this is serious.

Thanks

It depends on the length and width of the wall you are using it for ..... It should almost fully cover One side of a Room wall

battleaxe:
What area will one roll cover?
Or if you can just tell me what the width is. I note you already said a roll is 5.3ft long.
