Both teams started the season pretty good though. Mbape started the season with two trophies so football was actually kicked.

What's your point bro? Lemme clarify myself to avoid confusions. I'm saying I'll always prefer a better coach mixed with 6 or 7 top class players than having 11 or more world class players scattered around the team.

Flick is the difference for Barca same with PSG with Enrique. Without Flick or another top class coach, nobody will be talking about Barca this season. Just like last season where nobody took them seriously under Xavi. That's my whole point. Their squad is great but not better than Madrid's or may be they're same level I don't know.

I think you're actually making my own point. If Madrid had a better coach, they'll be playing better and keeping up with expectations.

Coach is always very key in my opinion 🗝️
I disagree with the bolded that a coach is the sole key to a team’s success. While I do agree that a good coach can implement strong tactical approaches and get the best out of his players, even the most brilliant coach cannot achieve much if he's managing a poor or unbalanced squad. No matter how tactically astute a coach may be, he needs quality players and a solid team structure to succeed.

So it's the team that makes the difference. Look at Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League , teams don't fear them simply because of who is their coach they fear Madrid because of the strength, depth, the brand and identity of the club itself.
Coaches come and go, but the legacy and quality of the team endure.

Take Carlo Ancelotti for example. He managed Everton for two seasons and couldn't guide them to a top-four finish, despite his vast experience and tactical knowledge. Then, midway through that same season, he was hired by Real Madrid. In less than three years, he won two Champions League titles and a La Liga trophy. The same coach, but drastically different outcomes , not because he suddenly improved, but because he had a world-class squad at his disposal in Madrid

There’s no doubt that a good coach can elevate a strong team and maximize its potential. However, without a formidable and well-balanced squad, even the best managers will struggle. In football, the name of your club determines caliber of players you bring in, then it's the duty of a good coach to shape them into champions.

so the team is the foundation, the coach enhances it, but he can't replace it.

Valid points but coach is really key TBH. The same Barca squad that Xavi said won't be able to compete with Madrid/UCL and was demanding for a DM up and down is the same team that people are now raving about. This statement, according to marca got Xavi sacked.

The only notable addition to the squad is Olmo who's been like NEPA in terms of injuries. Lewy will be 37 in some months. Same squad, different coaches, different mentality, different results.

I feel Chelsea under Flick or Enrique would've been playing at a higher level. I mean the squad is good enough for at least a top 4/top 3 place.
First of all, finishing in the top 3 or top 4 is not the target for a team like Chelsea. We buy players and hire coaches to win the top prize. Secondly, are you saying this squad is good enough to achieve dat ? I don't believe u.😂😂😂

Mehnnn cry
With which players, exactly? Baldéshile, Fofana, Nkunku, Sánchez, Adarabioyo? Let’s be real, no coach, no matter how brilliant, can succeed consistently with subpar players. You can have the best tactical mind in the world, but without top-tier talent to execute your ideas, your philosophy falls flat. Elite performance demands elite personnel. That’s why I always say: a coach is only as good as the players at his disposal. Your team defines you as a coach.
Kompany relegated Burnley but he don win Bundesliga the following season.

BlueRayDick:
Lolz 😂

In the first paragraph u said u weren’t talking about blocking or no blocking . Then u spent the rest paragraphs talking about why nobody should block nobody . Lmao.

Anybody can block anybody , it has nothing to do with being mentally strong or weak. The primary purpose of blocking is controlling the content u consume online . Shikena!

If u feel someone is too stupiid for u to waste brain cells reading their post , u are well within ur rights to block the person . That one no be mental weakness kan Kan 🙅‍♂️
I never said that blocking someone is a sign of mental weakness. What i said was that quitting a platform simply because your posts are criticized or not widely accepted or some people posts are not in line of what you can stomach shows a first-class mental weakness. As Raumdeuter pointed out, if someone insults you on the highway, would you stop driving your car because of it?
Every sphere of life is full of challenges, facing them only makes us stronger. Some people will insult you for no reason, but as a man, you have to stay focused and move forward.

Stand your ground. Let people know you for what you stand for, even if you don't receive much support. If you are on the right side of truth, one day the truth will reveal itself and vindicate you. That’s how true winners emerge. Winners continue with a strong mentality, it is only a weak mind that quits halfway.

BlueRayDick:
Nobody is blocking anybody because of any mental health .

People block each other because they don’t want to see each other’s contents ; it’s that simple .

It’s just like choosing not to see Reno Omokri’s GBA takes on issues ; it’s one’s prerogative to block him. It’s the same way u can decide not to see some people’s status on WhatsApp simply because they don’t post things that u really think u should be seeing on ur timeline . There are some people whom by virtue of u saving their number u see pornnn on ur timeline ; would u say one is being immature if he decides to mute such people’s status view or block them completely ?

There’s no big deal blocking anybody on any social media platform ; it’s basically controlling the content you feed on.
You got all the posts twisted, maybe deliberately, or maybe you didn’t understand my message. I never mentioned "blocked" in my post, and I never said anyone was blocking anyone because of a mental health issue.

My message was a response to semid4lyfe's comment about a fellow who abandoned this thread due to the mental stress he claimed to have suffered from other contributors.
If you excommunicate yourself from a thread with fewer than 1,000 contributors because their opinions cause you mental stress, how can you cope with apps like Twitter, news channels, and other media platforms that host millions of contributors?

No matter how good your contributions are, not everyone will agree with you. And no matter how bad, wicked, or even devilish your behavior is, there will still be some people who support and follow you.

Anyone who thinks everything he posts on social media will be accepted by everyone, without criticism then he or she have a weak mentality.
If opinions on Nairaland don't align with yours and you leave, only to find that opinions on Twitter don't match either and you leave again, and the same happens elsewhere and you leave then perhaps the problem lies not with the platforms but with your ability to cope.
Such a person might need to check his or her mental health.

It doesn't even make sense to block anyone here cos the difference and plurality of opinions is what drives this thread.

If person post here dey affect your mental health, then you're immature and have a lot of growing up to do.
Thank you for the bolded. I don't understand how someone can claim that other people's comments or opinions are affecting their mental health. It’s simply not realistic to expect everyone to think the same way. You air your view, and I share mine, none has the power to force his or her opinion on others. Even in heaven, where everything is perfect, the Devil still think otherwise.
Back in 2006, I worked with one oga in Lagos who said that, the best president Nigeria ever had was Sani Abacha. He is entitled to his opinion. Interestingly, this same person has always been appointed multiple times as an ambassador to represent the country. Now, if I were to say that an ambassador’s personal opinion is causing me mental distress, then clearly, I’m the one who needs to check my own mental state.
