BlueRayDick: If Argentina is not winning world cup, then by all means let Spain win it. Spain has really tried and would be a deserving winner should they manage to knock out France in the semis. Yes o, I’m a proud Messi FC member on a permanent contract. But if he can’t win it this time around, my allegiance will go to Spain too to lift the trophy. My Germany has been collecting L’s for the last 3 editions. So by 2034 World Cup, 8 years from now, I will support "I’m back, I’m back" to lift the trophy, I hope he still stay fits, By then my hate watch would have expired. |

Leyqute: To be fair, Ronaldo scoring one league goal for United as a teenager doesn’t compare with Messi scoring 6 league goals in a season for PSG after winning the UCL and multiple Ballon d’ors at Barcelona. A 37-year old man is a teenager? Wonderment |

raumdeuter: This is like saying We dnt know if you can beat Anthony Joshua because you have never fought him and you likely will never
Joshua has beaten those significantly better than you but since he never fought you directly we never know who is the better boxer betwen you and Joshua
Same way we dont know if Ronaldo can survive Cyprus or French League since he never played there A lot of top players have moved from Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, and the Netherlands to the Premier League and done really well. Thierry Henry came from Serie A and became an Arsenal legend. Cristiano Ronaldo came from Sporting in Portugal and became one of Man United’s greatest. Luis Suárez came from Ajax in the Netherlands and became one of the league’s best strikers. Sergio Agüero came from La Liga and became a Premier League icon. Mohamed Salah came from Serie A and became world-class at Liverpool. Kevin De Bruyne came back from the Bundesliga and became one of the best midfielders in Premier League history. And Erling Haaland came from the Bundesliga and started breaking scoring records right away. So how come a player of Messi’s caliber would flop in the EPL? Sometimes agenda will just make people to talk "anyhow talk". |

ThierryJay: Dont play smart bro. You were using his first 6-goal season in France to conclude that he might not cut it in Engalnd.
Yet you conveniently left out the second (42G/A) ballon dor winning season in France as if it didnt matter just to run agenda.
Again you left out Pendu's one goal abysmal second season in EPL. Using your logic, shall I say Pendu never did well in his second stint in England? Am I allowed to ignore his first more successful season like you did to Messi's second?
Oya gbewa In agenda land 1>6 🤣🤣😂 |

BlueRayDick: Oil dey ur head bro! I cosign this post 💯
Unlimited22 is trying to make it seem like the disrespect Wasiu gets is happening in vacvum, no it's not!
Wasiu has been chatting shiiit for a long time and it's not even about self confidence or what ever positivity he wants to use to cover it. Messi fans are only returning those disrespect in multiple folds now that result finally cancelled insults for Messi.
We all dey alive when Wasiu fans use Messi eyes see shege after Portugal won Euro 2016 and Messi crashed out of Copa America. A lot of football debates are decided by emotion, not by facts. People pick the player they like, not the one they truly think is better. For example, EPL fans will say players from their league are better than players from other leagues, even when the stats say otherwise. Fans from other leagues do the same thing just to prove that there own league is better. I’ve done it too in the past, but now I’m trying not to let personal feelings affect my judgment. A good example is the 2020 Ligue 1 fan vote for the best striker in the last 20 years. Drogba beat Zlatan Ibrahimovic to will the poll. With all due respect to Drogba, I don’t think he was better than Zlatan. Zlatan’s achievements, how long he played at the top, and his performances in Ligue 1 were on a different level. Honestly, comparing their Ligue 1 goal records together is criminal. But Drogba still won because the vote was based on fans sentiment. If I had given the opportunity to vote , I would vote Drogba too, just because I like him more. But that wouldn’t change the fact that I think Ibrahimovi was the better player. That’s the problem with a lot of football debates. People let what they like get in the way of the truth. It’s the same with a lot of Ronaldo fans. It’s not always that they think he’s the best player. They just support him because he’s their favorite. Liking a player and thinking he’s the greatest are not the same thing. |

Unlimited22: People are acting like up until 2021 there was anything to separate them They were neck and neck from 2007 till 2022
Only Messi's longevity (and by this I mean keeping up with elite performances in international tournaments so late in his career) has moved the needle and even then the difference is not much
Ronaldo gets too much disrespect and I say this as someone who hates Manchester United From 2007 to 2021, the debate was close, but it wasn’t exactly “neck and neck.” Messi already had more Ballon dor, more league titles, more European Golden Shoes, more playmaking awards, and better stats in goals per game, assists, chances created, dribbling, and overall impact on games. The 2021 Copa America and 2022 World Cup didn’t create Messi’s case. They just sealed a case that was already built over many years. Ronaldo deserves a lot of respect. He’s one of the greatest footballers, But if we set bias aside and judge by both what we see and the stats, it’s clear Messi has been the better player from the very beginning. |

So Trump actually said that? Does that mean he genuinely doesn't understand how football works, or is he just trying to play gimmick politics with our minds? |
