johnnyholtby: If you're getting 30mbps speeds with starlink the obviously starlink isn't for you. Both on my Mini and Gen 3 standard, I easily get 200 - 400 Mbps. I'd advise you look elsewhere if your speeds are that low. But based on my usage, I can 100% confirm that no ISP in Nigeria comes close to starlink with all things considered. Again this is based on my personal usage and opinion. I was shocked person getting 30mbps on Starlink likely a faulty router or something even my friend that is in Abuja where it's congested getting above 100mbps |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by morikee: 4:06pm On Apr 02 |
Tolu181: first of all if starlink will bring out 50mbps speed plan for 25k like mtn and airtel everyone will join that but they know that
they blocked their cheap roaming plan from nigerians
not everyone is getting 100mbps, here i get 20 to 30mbps while paying 57k
they should bring up affordable plans for nigerians
MTN is far better than starlink, na hype una dey hype this expensive rubbish
look at 555k for a kit then 57k for monthly plan that means extra 570k with stupid speed
meanwhile MTN and AIRTEL KIT free of charge and you guys are comparing starlink to them
starlink is fraud I just did this test around peak hour you might not be getting what you paid for but for me i'm getting value for my money and for Airtel they are renting the kit for you not like you own it same with FiberX The only time i experienced high network disturbance was yesterday and day before yesterday so i understand you might have different experience with me but not justified to call them fraud

Tolu181: no matter how you mfers diickride them, them no send una. pretty soon or later they will up their plan to 75k
and most of you dickridingg them will start protesting
one nigerian mentality i hate the most is "since i fit afford am then is cheap" Why can't you argue with fact without the usual Nigerian derailment How much is 300mbps on MTN FiberX? Last time i checked 100mbps was 45k same with Airtel ODU 100mbps which capped at 1TB |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by morikee: 1:28pm On Apr 02 |
Tolu181: naso someone go defend.
nigerian love defending poison
airtel odu is 25k mtn fibre X is 30k
starlink is 57k with 25mbps
and you call it cheapest
if you are not one of the employee then thunder fire you 57k for 25mbps? I used Airtel ODU before porting to Starlink it was 50mbps capped at 1TB for 25k if you hit 1TB your speed dropped to 1~2mbps |

fuckboys: capped at 1tb each month or capped at 1tb in the whole 3 months duration?
Cos I'm thinking of doing it cos it's more value for money. My guess if you hit that 1TB before your billing ends then you have to wait till new month so 1tb ×3 but Airtel na werey them fit run am 1x |

fineboynl: The arab league bag trump to wait for them to talk to Iran before he destroyed the their energy. They give trump gift ship of oil. But trump give them 5 days.
Pakistan was trying to meditate for Iran. But the teams of the white house will be difficult for Iran.
Sure America will loose men and weapons. But Iran will be defeated like Iraq.
Boot will soon be on ground. But it will come from people who want to go to Iran and not forced. Their rewards will be promotion and other special package and benefits.
America have the money and manpower and Iran is of not match with Israel along side.
Iran was just fortunate to be on a better geographical location which was highly favoured in this war with the closing of the strait of hormuz.
They needed foot on ground with heavy tanks and air superior support. Head straight to those underground mountain and destroyed all their missiles and weapons hidden underneath them.
The question should be when will Iran fall and not wether if it will fall or not. All these will come at a heavy cost |
