Travel › Re: All TEF Candidates For Canada Immigration, Let's Meet Here! by Morrewhunmie(f): 8:49am On Oct 13, 2018 |
etrange: Good Morning Guys!
This is an offset of the Canada immigration thread. Apparently, some of us need TEF exam to boost our scores. I therefore created this thread to serve as a meeting place for all TEF candidates. Let's share ideas and rub minds together. Two good heads, they say, are better than one.
So let's start with these questions:
1) Are you writing TEF? 2) Have you registered? 3) When are you writing? 4) Where are you writing? 5) Have you written one before? 6) Which materials are you using?
As for me; yes, I'm writing TEF and I have registered. I'm writing in October in Lagos. I've not written TEF before though I've tried DELF. Materials? Hhmm... I'm reading anything I see online actually. I also have grammar text books and my dear YouTube channel, Français Authentique...
Et vous ?
Bonne chance à tous ! Hi bro, please assist on step by step guide for registering for TEF. I want to book for the next available date but the information I've been getting online is somehow confusing. please assist on how to go about it. it's urgent pls. |

Xiadnat: morrewhunmie:
It sounds like roseola virus (measles) or even rubeola (german measles), but I can categorically tell ya this isn't measles.
It is quite rare to keep getting measles over and over, just once confers life long immunity.
Do you have any medical conditions like a depressed immunity? Is anyone else affected in your family?
In any case, It is likely virus. In that case, it is self limiting. You take no drug, it resolves on its own. Just relieve headache if need be. Aiit, thanks so much.God bless n keep the good work going. |

Xiadnat: morrewhunmie:
Can you describe this skin inflammation: is it a rash, redness, itchy, blistering? How about runny nose, sneezing, cough. Does the fever and rash occur before or after the inflammation. What is your age?
Any thing in particular that you have come to associate with it like exposures?
There is contact dermatitis: irritants and allergies.
You do not get measles off and on, because once confirms natural immunity. I suspect a something "fifth disease" caused by parvovirus B19- this does come and go. Typically, no special treatment. Just rest and hydrate with water and take pain reliever for headache. In some cases, one can develop complications with anemia and require some treatment. When the inflammation occurs,I experience the following : redness of eyes, sneezing, runny nose, headache and its always itchy and my temperature increases.I'm 26yrs old.thanks in anticipation of ur response |

Xiadnat: First: since I can't see this skin lesions; it is hard to tell. Things it could be: some form of eczema, atopic or seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis.
Yellow plaque sound more like psoriasis though, but it is not impossible for it to be something else though. Do you get allergies or are asthmatic per chance or anyone in your family?
I would first, keep skin area moisturized; get good moisturizer: Vaseline- cream based, not petroleum laden gel like one. Also, aloe vera, coconut oil/cream based, cocoa butter.
I would also go and get RX for low to mid potency steroid ointment or cream like hydrocortisone. There are other treatments but for more advanced cases.
Re High temp: go and get a basic lab work that includes peripheral blood smear; get tested for malaria and/or typhoid fever dear. And, then go from there.
*modified*:how high do you get exactly? Have you measured it with thermometer then or
Best of luck, do let me know how it goes.... its not really yellow like dt .....its looks like eczema,n I don't get allergies neither is dr an asthmatic patient in my family ...... tanks for d advice....will get back to u |
