What and what is he buying that is charging you 130k. Floating switch cost about 20k, how many yards of wire are you buying and what's the gauge, is he buying other things?

Using floating switch could have solve the problem for you but my concern now is that having two tanks in different locations. How do you want control the water using floating switch. The floating switch will only control one tank.


You can also give more info or pictures of the two locations

You can use both floating switch and floating valve. you connect the floating valve to the main tank receiving the water from the borehole, connect the floating switch to the second tank.

What brings all this issues most times is little misunderstanding.

You should know better since you sell USED items.

There’s always a way to settle this.

For example:

If the screen is 40k, and seller want to add 10k
He will simply tell buyer higher price and make first offer. The buyer will bargain or accept.

At end of the day, he’s spending same 10k and still maintaining his customer.

They’ll transact again and again - Life goes on.

I share from the fee of fixing inverters for my customers.

Real Life Examples:

1. I did waybill of 300W Energy Storage and 50W panel to Abuja. The vehicle got accident and the panel broke into pieces.

Luckily, the main solar generator has no defect 😋

Customer sent photo of damaged panel. I went to park and confirmed they had accident.

I asked the customer to leave the damaged panel and take the solar gen home. He did.

I bought a new 50W panel and send to him - I didn’t ask him to send me any money.

He received it.

Few weeks or months, he connect me to a lady that bought same item from me. The transaction was fast since I don’t need to prove to the lady that she will get her item after payment since I don’t do “Payment on Delivery”.

Up till last week, I still had biz discussion with the guy.


2. I sold fans to a firm in Ilorin, Kwara state.

10 units of solar fans. We had agreement for replacement of anyone that has issues. The way we do it is to return to company and take another one or company fix it and return it.

One of the fans has issues. He sent it to a woman coming to Lagos. The woman came with it. I don’t want to be stressing them and stressing myself- I just gave the woman another brand new fan.

The only thing I did was to put remove their damaged fan from the old carton and put the brand new fan inside their old carton. I kept my new carton. She left

I contacted my customer in ilorin and told him I’ve changed it.

One early Sunday while I was taking beer, this man chatted and paid for 50 fans. The gain is more than what that guy selling shoes here is planning to use to and rent 1 room and parlor in Lagos 😂😂😂

Bros, you sabi business. In business, you don't always win , sometimes you just have to count your losses and move but u will win most time as long has u are genuine

This issue just reconfirm that most Nigerians don't know how to run a good business. Is there no warranty on the said product?
Why do you think company like Temu and the rest will always sell, because they about what you purchase and give you a grace window of 3 months to return the product if there is any defect and claim 100% full refund.
After sales matter alot just like before sales .
My verdict... vendor should refund 300k back to the customer just as someone suggested

Okay. That's a start. Have you tried to take the display unit apart and disconnect the communication board to see if the LCD lights up?

Looks like its from one of the Axpert / mppsolar inverter / charge controller series. Options are to go to inverter repairers all over including Arena for example, or confirm the actual model it cam from and put an order online. I've ordered a communication board inside this display unit directly from mppsolar in the past, arrived on time, works as expected.

Thank you for the response. I Have been to Arena market, most of the repair guys said they don't repair the LCD or they don't know how to repair it . The inverter model is VMIII TWIN 4K. The power button is working, it just the screen and other buttons attached to the screen that's not working. It got blank when I tried to use communication cable on it

Pls guys, I need this LCD module or someone who can repair it for me.

So how much is the 80A(USED) and if I am to switch to a bigger set up like 24v or 48v in the future, will the 80A still be useful or I go need to expand to 100A again?

Maybe your system is design to handle high current instead of high voltage, which mean you can connect your panels in parallel instead of series ..or replace your panels with low voltage panels that can accommodate the system
