Someone that lives in Mansions in LA and Miami Florida, now becomes who lives in a rat infested cubicle. He must hv been so depressed.

My own is that all the charges leveled against him are charged and trumped up charges. If the same charges are brought on Nigerian men,all of us would be in jail.

How wud u see Diddy combs harassed or trafficked girls? The same girls we watch in his videos that dressed half naked?? I don't get.

That means artists like Snoop Dogg that used naked girls in his video is not safe
Boss...do u know the meaning of what u just said? If the same charges are brought on 9ja men, we we will all be in jail?

Wtf man...?

Says a lot about you and ur circle.
Celebrities / Re: Patoranking’s Sister & Husband Killed By Gas Explosion Caused By Thunder by moshuur(m): 5:52pm On Sep 12
NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

Village people were probably upset with their house warming so they sent thunder.
But since I was born, till now I have gotten young, I have never heard that thunder kills. Well, lightning does.

And I only know of two instances of people getting struck by it.

The first was a couple who were electrocuted to death by lightning while making love on a metal bed in a house with faulty earth insulations.

The second instance was a lady who was struck by lightning while making up by a window during a rainstorm. The cadmium and lead in her brown powder conducted electricity from the lightning and left her with third degree burns.

She was lucky to survive, but suffers from Alopecia and can not grow any hair in her armpits or pubic region till this day because of it.

We must learn to take care of our lives and not take lots of things for granted so we don't end up blaming village people for everything.

Use qualified professionals while building your house.

It is penny-wise, pound-foolish to use Kazeem the auto electrician to wire your house because his price is cheaper.

When you JAPA and leave Nigeria, you'll understand that is poverty that makes us pray too long and too much everyday. Saturday and Sunday here is for watching football, while the old and few young attend church.

What you scared of in Nigeria that will befall you in certain age, is what others in Europe despise.
Sat and Sunday is foe watching football?

Hmmmm....not for an average immigrant wey just enter.

Wow...Leicester.

I'm not that far from u ....

Like I said earlier, one's best bet is those care agencies (they do give shift....although, it might not be everytime).

Since u've tried that route already, I feel u can talk with ur fellow church member, fellow department mate (they might give u the link to d job wey them dey do)

Although, e sure me die u've done that already.

At this point, all I can say is best of luck.

Although, in the next couple of months, some job opportunities like royal mail, Amazon, etc will be out....the question is how do u cope before then.

Google "first call"

It's a recruitment agency and they give students work (warehouse).

I went for an interview recently outside of my my location it's 1hr 57mins by bus and I have to be reporting 7am in the morning which I can't make. He asked if I have a car I said no. I told him I would relocate but he wasn't pleased with that. This is the second time I am experiencing that. This car is another thing for securing job in this country.
Try register with care agency....

Leave them naw
you how many Nigerians have been socialised to be silly and not think things critically.
when they rear posts warning people, what their feeble minds interpret is as is.....
This man don travel and he does not want me to travel, he wants me to remain and suffer in Tinubu regime

People getting a raw deal in Sunderland and Salford now were once warned but they did not listen. Now see their lives outside
A lot more is happening that is not making it to the news.....
Chief ....I am expecting the woman to respond to my quote and explain to us how a student will pay the tuition fee alone.

She's even telling people to save their advice. The same people that advice people couple of pages back on some schools to avoid and schools that allow some flexibility for payment.

But telling them to be fully prepared financially for the journey ahead, they no wan hear that.

I wonder who do us this way...🤦🏾

You are dumb one..
We all know what's happening in the news, we all know the updates. Jeez we all freaking know but they choose to travel to UK and leave them.. Keep your freaking advises to yourselves for crying out loud. The same way people get deported also people are making it.. This is group is not for discussions like this alright this is for visa questions/enquiries.. if you want to advise as I have stated here before, go create your a thread that says advises for people coming to UK.. no one needs your freaking advise.. Jeez enough..
People can't ask questions again because you guys turned this thread to something else

Women...give them logic, nahhhh.

Explain to me how a student will pay 7k pounds within 9/10 months on 20 hours shift (ALONE...with rent inclusive).

If u want to break the 20 hours rule...

If u get long term loan....uncle/aunt will help...

If push comes to sholve, land to sell to clear everything.....that's okay

Summary of the warning so far is prepare enough funds for the whole journey.

Is comprehension difficult for u too?

Modified ___ based on what I wrote that you quote, I kinda expected a better response than this.

Cause I felt I broke things down in a better way (I even stated the categories of people the warning is meant for)

Now the guy that I called dumb will also come for me....😅😅

Nigerians are wonderful people😅....

Maybe something is wrong with our educational system that make my people not to be able to comprehend simple sentences.

No mind them .. They wont channel their energy to go and look for better things to do ..as if sey life is full of bed of roses. Na to come here to dey give report on how many people don run mental or homeless or depressed den go dey share..Na only that one den dey see. How about those people making it ?

Below was the conversation i had with one of my friends yesterday thats been in the UK for 2 yrs plus that i mentioned earlier above...

People are out there making moves for better life ..na yen yen yen yen these ones are here spilling every day. mtweee
You are dumb .....

Like comprehension is a big problem for you...

Now ask your friend how visible it is for someone to pay balance of tuition fee with house rent working 20 hours per week.

Don't mistake the warnings on this thread to those that say...ehnnn UK is boring/depressing....ehn after converting the house rent they pay in naira and they'll start shouting Don't come.

This is student visa route thread...

The warning is different from those....(and honestly, those other ones are bullshit)

If u av free accommodation and feeding is sorted out and u av like 70 percent of the fee already...

Why not...

All that is being said is Don't bank on 20 hours work limit to pay rent and like 60/70 percent of the fee.

Which is what lots of people bank on.

If u don't fall into that category, the warning is not for u...

In whatever you do ensure u have sufficient funds to cover ur fees otherwise u risk losing all to start from square 1 in Nigeria.

I think something is wrong with an average Nigerian.

Like I don't get it....

See as we explained to our people over and over again....they still don't get it.

Like .....is it too hard for them to comprehend the point we trying to make?

You tried to explain the reality to my people.....they'll start seeing u as a bad person.

Hello guys, I was given a sponsorship award to study in the UK, the award covers the full tuition and living expenses . I was also promised by the government to be employed after the course in the UK. I am also eligible to add dependant but I'm single.
After reading the warnings about the issues Nigerian students are going through in the UK at the moment is it advisable to go to the UK, it's the biggest opportunity I have recieved.

My current financial situation is such that I don't even have the Visa fees and NHS fees due to exchange rate, can anyone advice or assist me.
Senior man....if this is true, and u are sure it's not a scam,....

Pls start coming ooooooo (no think am twice).

Sell ur land.... if u have to inorder to raise the visa and nhs fee.

Why is this forum full of negative energy ? If you are tired of the place .. then leave!!!!! and leave people that wanna go to go..

Cant imagine some yall waking up and logging in into nairaland just to come and be negative.. IF YOU ARE TIRED ..LEAVE!!!!!!

Everyone's experience cant be the same. You that you are migrating to a new place , you expect to find everything easy when you get there huh ?? You dont wanna pay the price huh

Na work den dey do for abroad oooo.. If you dont tire Leave !!! and let the people that wanna go through and endure the journey till things make sense should come!!!
If all what has been said is too big for u to comprehend, the summary is it is not advisable to come tru student visa with the intention of paying ur balance of let's say 7k pounds and accommodation with 20 hours weekly work.

Without dependant

It's suicide (like literally).

If u av the fund, start coming.

I personally don't like advising Nigerians (we all know how we behave typically).

The Truth is people who earn 200k monthly don’t migrate, I don’t see how they re going to do it, average school fee cost £12,000 = about #20,000,000, they simply can’t have this money saved up by earning 200k only monthly, majority people who have migrated earn far more than this except those sponsored by family. Majority people working in the uk can’t save £8,000 annually except you choose to deprive yourself of the good enough life which sometimes defeats the purpose of leaving Nigeria, imagine someone who owns a big house of 5 bed duplex in Nigeria with a family of 5 squeezing themselves in a tiny 2 bedroom in London with a rent of £1200 monthly.
So much is happening to Nigerians in the UK, people don’t know the whole story. A lot of Nigerians will still be forced to leave after spending their life saving because once they turn illegal their lives will be miserable . Those discouraging other Nigerians only do that out of love, they really don’t want them to come and suffer like they are.
I would also discourage the do or die mentality most Nigerians have, also I have to realize this whole migration thing is even better for a single person. It’s easier.
Boss...I'm a single guy in the UK.

As regards ur last statement, why do u think it's better.

If I be married person and my department dey work, maybe I for don clear my school fee.
