I've seen the movies too and they didn't have as much an effect on me as the books did. The books r much more detailed and explicit than the movies. If u have 2 read it,dont take it 2 hrt cos if ur christian faith is not strong,it'll be shaken.

I am currently reading "The Hunt for Atlantis" by Matt MaCdermott.
The plot of the novel is clearly implied by the title. Although its fictional, the lost city of Atlantis has always fascinated me.

After rereading the Purple Wedding. It seems like it might have been Garlan that poisoned the wine in the chalice. Or Leonette if the sitting arrangement was Lord-Lady-Lord. Olenna is to short to have reached the three feet chalice on the table that's in front of Tyrion. Seems like the other Tyrells were in on it. But also while rereading, Joffrey eats the pie first, the one served to Tyrion, before he coughs and then drinks the wine, i started wondering if it was the pie that was poisoned or the wine. If it was the pie, was it the same person who wanted Joffrey killed that poisoned it, if so how did the person know Joff would just come back to Tyrions table to force him to eat the pie, thereby eating it himself. Or was it a different person, who wanted Tyrion dead and Joffrey died instead. Wonder if anyone has noticed too.

If you've read deep, each member(atleast main member) of the Brotherhood without Banners has a backstory or identity, except Lem. And no Lem isn't Tom O' Sevens. eg Beric is a Lord of House Dondarrion, Thoros came to King's Landing to convert people to R'hllor, Anguy is from the Dornish marches, Tom O' Sevens had a thing with Edmure Tully, Harwin amd Alyn were once in service at Winterfell, Jack be Lucky and his eye story, Edric is a Dayne and was named for Eddard, Lady Stoneheaet is UnCat and so on. Only thing we know of Lem is he had a wife and daughter and that he wears a yellow cloak. He definatily is more than that. And there was a time he talked of his dreams with the Ghost of Highheart.

Oh and have you read Dunk and Egg ? Might be i could send that too you. Or how about The World of Ice and Fire : History of the Known World by Maester Yandel ?

You guys are impatient. And some of you only even read it recently. If you've noticed, those books have so much detail, so much forshadowing, so many hints and backstories, and some of them unrevealed or unresolved. It's going to take time, to piece everything together, and to resolve things.
He has even planned a plot twist or two. Just be patient. And plan rereads. PS, if you're so ready for the next book, then im sure you know Lem Lemoncloaks real identity ?
