I've been hearing about Visa, Passports, agents etc as regards travelling outside the country for schooling or visiting and i need more info n clarity on this subject

I'll appreciate your responses or links to where i can be informed
NB must one use agents or should one walk into the embassy of the country eg Canada and start d process??
