One thing Arteta needs to realize is that sometimes, teams contending for a trophy do employ ugly tactics to give them an ugly win.
It irked me so much seeing the players just passing the ball aimlessly until they lost it yesterday. Tierney was in front of Partey asking for the throwing in so he could cross inside the box but Partey still chose to use his hands.
Just imagine Arteta bringing in Holding for Saka to play as CF yesterday with Nketiah and Jesus flanking him. Then you have both Tierney and Vieira whipping in crosses.
I know that would be a ridiculous suggestion but desperate situation calls for a desperation solution.
Note that I mentioned Holding because we currently lack a tall striker. |

The problem is not that Jesus drops to the Midfield too much, the problem is he has stopped adding fluidity to his game. He expends too much strength rather than brain.
One reason why our attack was so sharp this season is due to the fact that Jesus was so flexible positional-wise.
For example, during the first half against Leeds, we found it hard to break them down but suddenly Jesus dropped to the Midfield, did a couple of one-twos with Odegaard which later carved the Leeds defence open.
He did it once against So'ton which resulted to an half chance.
He needs to revert back to his old playing style. Even Martinelli and Saka are being affected by his rigidity currently.
Jesus' greatest strength is his footwork. His strength is just a bonus while his finishing is good. However, his footwork opens up the opponent's defence given other players a chance to score. |

typicalgamer: I define popularity not by goals or in game achievements but by marketability and lucrative deals under your belt
This is know for a fact that lewa is sooooo far behind when compared with English strikers. That’s popularity for me. It’s not ig numbers but what are you pulling in yearly aside your salary. More brands flock popular leagues and their players i could list Kane endorsements that would make lewa look jealous.
Messi is an undisputed god on the field but of it. Nah he no touch Ronaldo shadow which one is marketability again? Most of the marketability of Kane ends in England but Lewa's is more global. Lewa got signed for 40M at 34 years of age..that should tell you something |

germaphobe: . he can't rest the whole team for 90mins, he can start kt3, holding, gabriel(i trust his fitness level) and tomi in defense. sambi, viera and xhaka(another fitness monster). nketiah, marquinhos and nelson in attack. then depending on the result of the game in the closing minutes, he can either bring in reinforcement in attack, midfield or defence but should be of less minutes remaining. we can't afford to looseguard against forest as the are still trying to gather momentum and might cause alot of damages(what the did to us in fa cup abi na league cup still dey my mind.) my most worry is the continues use of saka name martinelli in all matches and partey too, especially partey knowing how fragile he is. Well.. I agree with you sir |

sod09: I am trying to draw on the picture but my phone is not Gabu is the one directly at Tomi back He should have moved a Lil back not close to Tomi Armstrong is the one running into the box, if gabu had position himself the guy won't have occupied it Once Tomi sighted gabu he wanted to correct it by moving to his position but it was late Bro... Gabi was not in a position to see who made run behind na so how do you want him to mark somebody who was running behind him? If he had moved towards Armstrong, Elyounssi will have a clear view of the goal. |

sod09: Bro we have passed that stage Go watch the goal from where Tomi and elyounssi were one on one Who's marking Armstrong where was gabu White.... And he left Armstrong at the last minute. Do you know what they call feint run? Giroud do make a lot of these runs then. If Gabriel had followed Armstrong, that would have open up the defense and Elyounssi will have a clear chance to shoot. |
