lovewins: At a time when the Nigerian league began to show gleams of hope, the LMC by their passivity have again messed things up.
Just a few days ago it was reported here the abhorrent behaviour of the Kano United chairman, the LMC however decided to give all 3 points to Kano with a ridiculous financial fine as penalty.
Guess what, something way ridiculous happened today in the game between Remo Stars and Kastina United. Remo Stars equalised to make the game 2-2 in the 90th minute. The Kastina United officials initially disrupted the game stopping play and ending the livestream. Play however continued minutes later.
The game later ended 3-2 in favour of Kastina United. The referee didn't end the game until the got their winning goal at the 34th minute of additional time. Yes, you read that right, 34th minute of additional time.
How do you grow a league of referees are afraid for their lives when officiating? Just sad. I'm sorry in advance if this sounds offensive but is it a coincidence that a particular region is at the heart of all these controversies or everything is being played. |

But then, if we do combined between those 6, only Saka will make my front 3.
They other England duo will be the last people I'll think of in case of sub But goalscoring-wise, England looks more dangerous. |

TheSuperNerd: It should count but the major stats systems don't count it. E.g. Stats Perform's Opta
In Fantasy Premier league and almost all fantasy play systems (also referenced most times by likes of Transfermrkt), rebound shots that lead to goals are counted as assists. Even Goals scored via PK won by a player or FK won by a player are counted as assists in fantasy systems so to rule out mixing things up, I stuck to the traditional for the U17s.
So if Emmanuel Michael has 2 assists if I add the rebound assist then Iyede also has one. But traditionally, Michael has one and Iyede, Zero.
In all, it depends on if I wanted to mix the two systems or just stick to the traditional.
Hope you get me. I get it now. |

TheSuperNerd: Then I should as well count Kevwe Iyede's strike which stung the Ghanaian GK's gloves before Precious Williams finished it off in the 4-2 win for the second goal as an assist for Iyede. Not so?
And every FK won by Okere, Lawali, and Abdullahi respectively for Michael's 3 FK goals as assists eh?
I took note of all these accounts in every G+A report and we all know those aren't counted as assists. oh..I thought rebounds are counted as assist |

arsenal96: Burkina babes really used their heights and physicality well today, their heights helped them in defending high crosses, at the same time helped them win more aerial duels in our half. Quattara no 7 and their striker no 9 caused a lot of trouble with their heights, always winning first ball over our defenders. Yes ... The defenders really tried. |

arsenal96: He reminded me of Ubani of last 2 sets, Akinkummi Amoo's set. The guy has good shot power, but lack accuracy. Michael is all rounder. He is not all about shooting, his techniques when taking those free kicks need to be commended. He will be vital to their success at nations cup. Because most of the tight matches will be decided by one moment of brilliance. And he can provide that with his fantastic set pieces and delicious crosses to the box. the guy is good. He could have sneak in one fk in the first half of not for the height of our opponent. |

AndSunGorilla: The Ghananian pitch is an eye-sore!!!! Only the North Africans and South Africa consistently have good pitches in Africa. I'm telling you. The bad pitch is affecting the boys' game. They would perform better than this on a good pitch. And to make it worse, Ghana used too much water to wet the pitch after the 3rd place game...all of them just dey slip |

What a scintillating performance from the boy. I particularly love their relentlessness and tenacity in thw midfield especially when you consider the fact that these burkinachildren are taller and more physical.
We could have gotten the second goal but well well...we move.
Great goalkeeping too but I will like the coach to double mark the burkinafaso number 7...he is threat.
And a beautiful goals from a beautiful assist. Roberto Carlos Marcelo with a beautiful cross to set up Abdullahi |
