Thanks Euro. Will review and get back to you soon enough. Much appreciated. |
I particularly like honda bikes, except you advice otherwise. 450cc. Not older than 2007. |
Euro, You havent replied to my enquiry. What is the range in cost of the used bikes? The prices online are of the new ones and that will break the bank for me. |
Bros! You go wait ohh. Not as easy as it sounds but i feel ya! |
Where in the US are you based and is there an active motocross community there? |
Thanks bro! Very useful insight you provided there. I will definitely reach out to you as we progress. At the very least, for the spares. You know something about this. Will be in the US early next year and no matter what, i will try to see how we can synergise on this. |
Oh Thanks. You are right that the site is work in progress. We hope to try to be able to gauge level of interest from the Naija online community, review feedback and suggestions before we do an FID (Final Investment Decision). As a registered member, we will provide updates via email when the FID is taken right from land acquisition (with pixs of work of work in progress) right up to 1st race day. Your reply is a boost. It is time to kick up some dirt! |
I have noticed that the only sports celebrities that get any mention in the Nigerian media are all foreign based. I hear no mention of any local sportsman in any sport. Why? The sport of bike racing (Okada ehh) has turned such people as Valentino Rossi into world wide brand names and even bicycle riding has made Lance Armstrong one of the world's most succesful sportsmen. If you want to be part of a new wave of sportsmania in Nigeria and help make some celebrities out of those guys at home, visit www.motocrossnaija.com and be a part of something exciting about to happen. www.motocrossnaija.com It is time to kick up some dirt! |
Who wouldnt't like to watch a motorbike race? That is even more fun than watching overpaid football players with oversized thighs passing a round object backwards more than forward. Football is a boring game! |
Thanks for your offer. I will be grateful for your assistance. Have you attended a motocross event in the US before? I need the specificied bikes for the Senior Category and their price ranges. |
I am interested in starting a cross country bike race (i.e. motocross in the states) and would like help in getting the bikes into the country. If you can be of assistance, please provide range of cost of the bikes (i would like to start with 30 bikes) and cost of importation. Only serious suppliers please! Interesting isnt it! That the sports section of Nairaland will have only football leagues and championships listed under Sports. There is a sport 3X more popular than football (Google search FIM and FIFA and compare number of results). Until we evolve from the mentality of football = sports in this country, we will continue to deny opportunities to our youths. A forum like Nairaland, knowing the smallness of the world, now thanks to the internet, ought to be promoting other sports as avenues to engage the youths of this country in other maybe professionally rewarding sport.
