Plot to Shut-down Internet in Nigeria Exposed

Just like the Southern Part of Cameroon, the Buhari-led FG are presently meeting with stakeholders in the telecoms industry on plots to shut down the internet from February 14th. This has come up because of the use of the internet to expose their many lies and corrupt practices. For instance, without the internet, Nigerians would not have known about the Gandollar corruption scandal, and the 100 soldiers killed in Metele by Boko Haram. This action of the FG falls in line with many other actions of the FG pointing to their intentions to rig the 2019 election.

Recall that the FG had refused to consent to the electoral amendment bill which legalized the use of card readers. Also, reports show the FG has deployed soldiers across Nigeria for Python dance, just few weeks to elections. Shutting down the internet in Nigeria would hamper the election monitoring and reporting procedures, thereby making it easy for the FG to rig the election in favor of Muhammadu Buhari. Nigerians must stand up for their rights to speech and their rights to communicate, using the internet. Nigerians must refuse this blatant effort of the Buhari-led FG to rig the upcoming 2019 election.

Lagos State Advertising Agency (LASAA), has allegedly directed board owners to remove campaign adverts of the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. LASAA has been going about, harassing board owners who accepted Atiku’s adverts ever since. The sources who of course want to be anonymous has stated that LASAA asked the owners of a Led Board at Lekki/Ikoyi Bridge, to remove the ad today without reason.

The board owner which has not been seen to violate any laws, has been directed by LASAA to remove the Atiku/Obi ad placed there. Another advert that was supposed to go up at Ikeja Mall, was refused by LASAA for same reason. A member of the Atiku campaign had opted for some boards and was denied by LASAA because they were too close to the Governor’s office.
Recall that the APC Governorship aspirant had opened the Ozumba Toll Gate for people to pass, as part of his campaign. If a candidate has such powers, then why does it seem like another candidate does not have the right to have his adverts placed on legally standing boards. Also, early December saw the utter destruction of the PDP Lagos Governorship candidate’s campaign boards along Third Mainland Bridge.

You got me cracking up dia. From experience, i've found out dat most times, the softwares gotten from persian wizkid and crosat are better at addressing some of our FTA needs dan the official softwares. At times, strong stops releasing softwares for a particular machine. Dats when crosat and wizkid comes to our rescue. A good example is the current auto update to version 300p being embarked by strong where u find out dat 6969 and 8280 no longer works. Dats why u see people not looking for the official one as it's more or less of no use. Hope we are good now. Regards.
