Using an Ibo interpreter to talk to the illiterate Rebisi (Port Harcourt) chiefs, they asked them: Would you permit us to use the waterfront to build the wharf(Seaport)for ships to berth? And they answered: A KWERULEM , meaning – “We have agreed.”
What the white-man was hearing was “Ikwerre,” so he recorded it in the official gazette that the IKWERRE PEOPLE have agreed for the colonial administration to build the wharf. And since it was the official record of government, the name Ikwerre became the name of the Iwhnurohna people in all official documentations till date.

What I know for sure is that his mother is Igbo from Umuahia because I knew her while she was alive.

He grew up mixing more with his mother’s people. I know all his siblings ( two twin sisters and a brother) and even some of his mother’s relatives.

All the important women in his life that he has sucked their bress are Igbo women including his mother, his wife and his baby mama, the reason he is that way. He was my eldest bro’s school mate in OAU although he is much older because he had attended COE before going to Uni.

The truth is that no decent or reasonable person will take a character like that seriously. He’s the most dishonest and lying human anyone would meet, and also extremely dirty at the level of a pig. He would say something at 9am in the morning and by 12 noon he would deny he ever said it. People that know him from his home, secondary school County Grammar School, COE and OAU will verify what I am saying.

It’s only Igbo people that takes someone like Uche Okwukwu seriously to the extent of putting him at the top of their leadership. I really feel sorry for them and pray that they make him their president so their eyes go clear.

TribaIism is rife in Benue, that's why the Idomas pride themselves in using the Tivs for manual labor and they do say it that the Tivs have been doing their manual labor since the days of their fore fathers, I have gotten myself acquainted with Benue since 1999 and my first agricultural encounter was in Otukpo and Tivs made those heaps, u don't even know basics.
Speaking a language doesn't mean u know everything about that tribe.

Idoma might pride themselves using Tiv for that sort of jobs now cause they know Tiv people did look down on them as inferiors in the past, and if an idoma person tells you Tiv people did this type of jobs for their forefathers then they are lying to you just for the pride of it , Tiv people have alot of pride that can easily be passed off as arrogance, much like the igbos,
