This great site will be 10yrs. in 70days (march 15), yet am not seeing threads to this effect. (except the last but six line that reads "Nairaland - Copyright © 2005 - 2015 Oluwaseun osewa" )
as the largest nigerian and African forum i was expecting:
1.Nairaland logo have a hat,or something to show a celebration season like google use to do
2.Threads partaining to this
And many more.
please don't let 2015 elections and the likes take the front seat abeg.
Let's celebrate this as a forum and as a people. A decade online is worth celebrating.

Did you know that the naira has once had more value
than the dollar and that N1 stood for $1.004
as at 1985?

What happened to our Naira and how can this be corrected?
I won't be able to answer this because am not 30+18 yrs old

yea it's 2015, and this year marks 30yrs of its continual fall, i don't have to tell you how much we exchange dollar today,we all know that

well it started with IBB In 1985, he devalued the naira simply because of the instructions of IMF
(Europeans) and world bank (USA) based on
the loan agreement he made.
And after which it continues to fall and fall with one story or the other

And the latest story was backed up with falling fuel prices,well you can google for those stories, if you are interested.

I read somewhere that the imf met with Uncle Jona govt but Sanusi objected. But was later sacked.
And after which the falling continues.

What's the way out in 2015 naija

IBB said GEJ is the best man for us in 2015,
hmmmm,or what do you expect him to say

well my own advice are:
Don't stop praying for nigeria
Don't sell your vote pls
Shun violence
Let our children read about this year, maybe in the next 30yrs and still be proud of being a Nigerian

A better nigeria that's what i vote for
And i suppose this is encouraged by enlightening each other.
