Romance / Re: Why Do We Marry? by MrLexander(m): 6:02pm On Dec 16, 2015
Lol
Strahovski:
In my opinion... marriage is pointless.

It's just valued in Nigeria and 3rd world countries. Where marriage is an achievement.

I know people who grew up with their parents.. lived happy and even moved on from being boys with their lives to Men and their parents were never married. I know alot. Not 1 not 2 not 3 ...not 20.. alot

So the earlier we realize that marriage has no point the better. Marriage is a cage! A floor opened for a liability.

I don't think unmarried men are disrespected in the society, unmarried women are mostly the victims not men. And why should anyone care what anyone thinks about them for not marrying, their business and headache. Nonetheless, I'm equally interested in learning from the question you asked.
good.. tell the mods to push this grin

Why will you not marry?
Looking at marriage these days, its just near to crap.. so many issues,dramas,commotion.. one will just get tirwd of all those stuffs easily..
Romance / Why Do We Marry? by MrLexander(m): 8:37pm On Dec 12, 2015
Sometimes stuffs like this get across my mind.. though weird but its something we need to think deep about and understand its effects, advantages, disadvantages, pron and cons etc..

Biblically i do understand that marriage is legalised but again i havent came across where the bible says that men who dont get married will goto hell or so..

Cant a man just have kids without getting married?
Must we follow the societal mentality and culture ?
Must we fulfill the norms of the our todays culture?
Must marriage exist before a man be respected in the society?

So many questions to be answered!
Why must a man be married before he is respected in the society?
Opinions from you all..

Mr Nairaland or Miss Nairaland is a competition that has been part of Nairaland's culture since 2012.

It's a competition where contestants are nominated either by themselves and others and if they agree and get verified, they compete for who will come out tops. The winner is chosen by voting. And people vote on the basis of handsomeness/beauty, intelligence and character.

The essence of the competition is basically for fun. The show always promises to be interesting and one gets to meet new people and make new friends.

At times the show is sponsored by certain individuals or organizations and the winner is provided with a price, it could be cash. The winner also gets a certain sort of popularity and makes new friends.

The competition takes place twice a year. One in June and the other in December.

Why focusing on bayelsa more? Why not kogi election or was that free and fair? You are hitting on bayelsa cos PDP Has a higher percentage of winning their. This man isnt serious. Cancel both kogi and bayelsa election .. .INEC IS APC.. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT..

Malam Nasir Elrufai the chameleon..

They go wine and dine while an average nigerian hvnt even dine talkmore of wining..

These people are selfish, greedy fellows whose interest revolves only within their families and friends..

One day na one day! Monkey go go market e no go come back..

I wont pity the poor dude, cos this is done out of their own stupidity.. i mean how can a politician be using your life to fulfill his own political ambition..at the end of the day when they get into the office, they forgets you and continue their evil deeds..

If only the nigeria youths will stand up and be wise enough to stop being political thugs for these criminals called politicians..
Politics in nigeria is a do or die affair.. BE WISE PEOPLE
