I think just three checkpoints are enough, one for immigration, one for customs and one for soldiers

In all my travel around Nigeria, the soldiers along that stretch of road are the best behaved I've ever seen... NO HARASSMENT, just fun loving guys, they go make you laugh sotey you go think say you dey comedy show... [/b]It's actually SAFER to stop your car in their checkpoint for repairs or whatever than to stop at any of the other armed forces[b]

You'll tell immigration you're going to the beach at Seme, they'll say it's a lie that you're not a Nigerian, and start billing you and want to arrest you for not being a Nigerian

Good one from Lagos Govt..It happened to me when going to drop some1 at seme. Immigration was asking for my passport just after the badagry beach. I told we are still in nigeria and i ask them if i should be carrying my passort in my country. they became angry and try to delay me. It really pathetic in that axis..

Compromise is just as well as full duty customs just made it looks like they're helping us on soft landing which it's suppose to be the actual duty,I mean doing business on it

Customs would always want you to compromise because doing business is their salary not the allocated one from the FG even the full duty if ure not careful you'll be penalised,its who are in the systems can understand me better,I'm sorry to say this

But doing compromise with the right channel u can't have stress even if there is going to be any issue negotiation will definitely surface to settle and you'll be relieved

Can someone travel out of lagos with compromise duty without custom harrassment or impounding the vehicle.
also does compromise duty have exit stamp.

Hi Giselle, thank you for your response. I really appreciate.
For purpose of visa, I explained that I was going for vacation, which included sightseeing,shopping etc.
For my financial/economic circumstances, I stated that I'm employed as a civil servant with 84k+ monthly. I also noted that I receive 250k monthly allowance from my husband for my personal upkeep as additional income.
I also received rent income of 490k from my tenant in one of our properties ( I showed deed)
I submitted my personal landed property document and 2 landed properties owned by my husband and I.
From my closing balance of 1.7 million I said I was going spend 500k personally but my husband will sponsor the rest of the expenses for the trip.

But the ECO still said my documents have not demonstrated compelling economic incentive to my home country.

So the incomes I receive on a monthly basis does not really make sense? And my husband's sponsorship subsequently does not help my case? Wow!

That means I need to have what sort of income range then before they can see me as economically viable?

I made that comment based on my own personal experience, and that was why I said he could try it.

UK trip - I entered in March 2015 with my 2-year UK visa, which was supposed to expire in August 2015, and I stayed until September 2016. 

In April 2017, I gathered my documents together and applied for a 5-year UK visa. On my VAF, I claimed I was in the UK in 2015 for 10 days. I uploaded my expired UK visas (6-month and 2-year visas) to support my application.

My 5-year visa application was approved.

I am not an immigration expert or visa agent; my comment on this issue is based only on my own personal experience.

I complete my studies in Uk 2015. I then applied for visit visa to attend my graduation in 2016 and was given 6 months visa, although i stated i will be staying in uk for 10days but i ended up staying 5 months, i came back before my visa expired.
In 2017 i applied, although i just started working, i was refuse base in several reasons 1. i stayed 5 months instead of 10 day. my salary was not reflexing on my statement of account. etc.
If i apply again next year do i have a chance of geting a visa. or i should wait for 10years and re apply without mentioning the refusal.
