NOTE: Wiping in Stock Samsung Recovery will wipe all the data in the internal sd. SO Backup whatever u need from there to ur memory card or better still, PC first!

hello.. thanks for the help. i did all that and also cleared the cache in recovery mode.... it still hangs

my s3 keeps hangin.... i just did factory reset and it still keeps hangin. what do i do? whenever it hangs i hv to remove the battery n reboot

einsteino: do this, plug in a charger and connect it to a power source. after 10minutes, place your hands near the camera... if its getting hot near the camera, then i can assure you that your motherboard is fried. if not, it is probably a bad power i.c or your boot information got corrupted hence needs a jtag service.
