QUESTION: General, are you not going to respond/reeact to the latest documentary against your person by the PDP, AIT and NTA?
BUHARI: "What again am I still going to say? I have been moved to tears reading and seeing how young Nigerians who are even less than 30 years are picking holes and fallacies from the official lies told about me, about Tunde, about Atiku, Soyinka, my ex-late wife, my wife my late children and the good history of Nigeria.
Young people have corrected the lies being told by elderly men who were eyewitnesses and ought to know better but decided to tell blatant lies so as to prevent us from rescuing Nigeria.
But like I said, my joy is full today knowing that our young people in this country are better historians and have refused to be manipulated. I will not say anything now because the nation is not confused and I don't want or intend to break the Abuja Peace Accord.
eluquenson: That is just the simple truth and nothing but the truth, PDP have tried a lot but all to no avail, am very anxious & waiting for the deal day to witness how PDP will be defeated gallantly.
The crooks will do everything possible, but they will not prevail. The masses are no longer wearing diapers! They will teach PDP lesson at the polls.
D’Banj just delivered a mind blowing and thoughtful interview with Olisa on The Truth.
Recall that D’Banj blamed Dr Sid for the break down of Mo’Hits Records. He finally shed light on what went down.
Here is what D’Banj said in summary.
D’Banj said when Kanye West requested for himself and Don Jazzy to come to the United States, Don Jazzy complained about the cost of living in New York and he is tired of the whole stuff after couple of weeks. The music producer then demanded he returned to Nigeria and continue facing the music business as they are already big in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
On returning back to Nigeria, Don Jazzy started acting cold to him, D’Banj said. The self acclaimed Koko Master claimed he wasn’t able to figure out the relationship has started to break down because he wasn’t always in Nigeria to put eye on details. Shortly after Don Jazzy requested they end Mo’Hits Records, D’Banj then asked for an extra 6 months, July 2011… Hoping he can convince his business partner.
After 6 month, December 2011, The Don hasn’t changed his mind one bit. The entire record label voted D’Banj out, D’Banj even said his brother would have preferred to stay with Don Jazzy at that time.
On parting ways, Don Jazzy told D’banj he will ask anybody to stop playing his music if he listens to it anywhere.
On his foe, Dr Sid, D’Banj revealed he signed Dr Sid to the record label. He recalled the leaked audio tape where Dr Sid said D’Banj was stealing the shine of other members of the record label
“Why don’t they know my name? Because D’Banj’s brand is too *big*… D’Banj’s star is too big, it is overshadowing” said Dr SID in the tape that leaked a long time ago.
On Wande Coal, D’Banj said he was a happy man during the circa of the label claiming even his kid got a share of what the record label made as they ran the company like a family but Dr Sid was not a happy man. At the end of the day, Don Jazzy picked Sid ahead of him.
Another tea, D’Banj said the song SURULERE was made because of him, all the lyrics are subliminal
nagoya2: The sad thing is that government has remained silent on the issue of unguarded containers being conveyed on all sorts of rickety trucks on Lagos roads.
May God have mercy.
I posted an article about a container that fell off Ojuelegba bridge and landed on a commercial bus. They said it was not front page page worthy because there were no casualties. Forgetting awareness to everyone and the government is important.
dealslip: Nigeria has more qualified people to handle the presidential position than an SSCE holder what kind of insult is this. For Godsake we can't be bugged down with this certificate nonsense. Please move on to the next qualified person. Liar Mohammed's play on words can not excuse Buharis inability to even present a basic certificate that is almost considered as nothing this days. Please this is not how change will come. Shine your eyes don't take us back to the era of economic retrogression, the world has moved beyond the likes of Buhari and illiteracy. If Power must return to the north look for other contestants from the region. If power must remain in the south look for contestants in other parties. APC is equal to PDP, full of PDP defectors
Some of you just speak as if you don't know how politics in Nigeria is. Who else can remove the corrupt PDP from presidency if not Buhari? The certificate issue will be addressed tomorrow by 9 AM.
afosahid: God Bless you... These guys do NOT reason clearly. The south western people have grown past voting along religious and ethnic lines. The truth is I was really surprised when the south westerners voted overwhelmingly for GEJ. As for me, there were clear indications that GEJ was not a good leader and he did not have the balls to lead this country properly. Look at the damage and embarrassment he and his classless wife have brought upon this country. Look how much GEJ has empowered criminals and just listen to the SILLY statements the wife of this criminal is saying. Are these not inciting statements against a certain tribe in this country. Where is the DSS and their UGLY spokeswoman? Should these people not be invited for questioning or cautioned not to make such comments anymore?
I guess we have learnt our lessons and we will never let sentiments cloud our judgement whenever we get the chance to elect a new leader. I voted GMB in 2011 and I will vote him again in 2015.
We need change and we will get it at the 2015 Polls.
#GMB/OSIBANJO2015
I think we had same view back then. After he was sworn in, his body language revealed he's not capable of putting this country in order. I wanted to vote for Ribadu in 2011, my family was against me because of he's from the North. (tho, I was not able to because I lost my voter's card). My family now see it clearly now, and I'm 100% sure they are all voting for Buhari this time. In fact, they asked how I knew that GEJ would not rule this country in the right way.
When I saw Yar'adua the way he was looking frail after which he was sworn in as the president in 2007, I came here and opened a thread regarding it. So many people didn't see it coming, they said all sort of things. In fact, some said they would like to be like Yar'adua. I hope they've not also gone 6 feet under the ground.
temitemi1: Are d sweet customized with pDP logo?? I wonder how u want me to believe that those sweets was truly thrown by pdp ... GEJ till 2019!!!
Mr man, I saw them today with my eyes throwing phones into the air at computer village. Talk about thuggery and disorderliness, PDP is a perfect example.
