We read many posts about scammers on this page so I thought it's good to also appreciate the few vendors who show up...

The first time I got things from this vendor was several years ago when I saw a post of a cordless drill and jigsaw. Both were about 50k then which is probably equivalent to over 200k or more in recent times. I was a very skeptical person when it comes to buying things I don't see and ofcourse for the fear of getting scammed, but first thing he did to win my trust was describing the exact state of the gadgets which he has always done everytime ever since. I've patronised him countless times since then and he has shown up everytime. Always following up until my items are delivered to me in Abuja.
When I read scam related stuffs attached to his name I just assume it's either a dubious person tryna play a fast one on him or someone who has a misunderstanding with him cos I must confess he can be impatient sometimes. I guess he just wanna make sales without too much stories but you can't blame someone who goes through the hustle and bustle of Lagos daily just to bring gold to us for cheaper than the usual price.

And when it ended, it didn’t break loudly. It faded. Slowly. Painfully. Like watching something slip through your fingers while you’re still trying to hold on.
After that, the others came and went.
Some started strong and died quietly. Some never even made it past potential. And each time, I adjusted, became a little less open, a little more guarded, a little more… strategic.
Eventually, I stopped trying to figure people out altogether.
I didn’t have the time anymore. Between work, responsibilities, and just trying to keep life moving, I couldn’t afford to be decoding mixed signals or second-guessing intentions.
But one thing I knew for sure I wanted to get married.
Not casually. Not someday. I was ready.
And that was the frustrating part. Because after several relationships that just wouldn’t and couldn’t work, I found myself in a strange place: prepared for commitment, but disconnected from the process of finding it.
So somewhere between exhaustion and quiet hope, I made a decision that, at the time, felt slightly delusional.
If I couldn’t figure love out on my own… maybe I needed help.
