Don't let anybody deceive that there is money in Marketing or Sales.

I have been into Marketing and Sales since I finished my NYSC in 2018. I never see the Kain money wey people dey talk say Dem dey see for Marketing o.

Is it Marketing? wetin I never do. From Real Estate to Real Estate Investment to Health Products to Cosmetics to HR Marketing to Books to Food Products. I can't count.

Someone even tried to bring me into Insurance marketing. I run o.
I even did Network Marketing sef.

My dear. Do u have a good shoe. If u don't. Please go and buy. You will later know the true meaning of "It is easier for a camel to enter into the eye of a needle than for a Marketer to make good money from marketing".

I learnt little of Digital Marketing sef to help myself.


In all, na Commission e go end.

How to spot a Deportee
They always say these things
"Abroad is hard"
"Whites are Racist".
"I will never encourage even my enemy to travel out. Never"
"Whites hate the black man".
"They will never give you a good job".

Also, they are always speaking stupid Phonetics and always ending with "yeah men".
They can wear sweater under heat just to prove a point.
They can gist you of how they were footballers in Europe and even met Queen Elizabeth but decided to come back to invest in Nigeria.

Last but the least.

They always end their conversations with "THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME"

That's all I can remember for now.

Nobody should ask me how I know these things.

. I would've loved to give u a piece of advice... But unfortunately I know nothing about the noble Nursing Profession.. I only know about MBBS as a 400L Medic(and a graduate of Human Anatomy).

If you don't have a strong drive for medicine, just forget about mbbs because your zeal will be tried and tested several times.

The studying just never ends, the stress never ends, the brain&emotional abuse just never ends, the feud between u and practical instructors, between you and other Medics (like nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, M.L. Scientists, Radiographers, etc) never ends, between you and Residents&Consultants never ends...

Everyone, literally everyone is against you as an mbbs student.

Even your fellow mbbs students compete with you for higher scores(and if you're not in top 10, they stigmatize. if you're in top ten but not in top 5, they stigmatize. if you're in top 5 but not top 3, they stigmatize. if you're in top 3 but not number 1, they stigmatize) instead of helping you like a brother or a sister would do.

Even your family and friends, Your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend, even inlaws that aren't in the mbbs struggle do not understand. They see you as anti social or lazy or too bookish or faking being busy. Etc.

The late nights and early mornings, the meagre salary you're paid(compared to the stress and number of years u put in).

If your Zeal isn't strong enough, you will be depressed and want to drop out.

So before u pick that form to go for mbbs, be prepared for all of the above and more

Hmmm, It seems MBBS is not really easy. There is so much sacrifices involved that the world don't see atall. I'm glad to have known all this.

It's weird how people like dogs.

I don't like dogs.

I went to someone house one time, as we were talking in the parlour, na so one gigantic scary looking dog just came to the parlour and was moving around me as we were sitting down talking. I just tried to be cool.

2mins later,another gigantic scarier dog came into the parlour and was just staring at me face to face with tongue out.

I was also staring at both of them at this time.

Trust the owner..."it does not bite, it does not bite... it even likes you. Look at how they are just moving round and looking at you. They want to play with you"

At that moment, I almost fainted.

You no try George...and you say we are friends.

That's the reason i have stopped coming to your house. When your daddy asked me, I lied and said I have been busy lately.

Chairman pls go for nursing , MBBS is 6 +x yrs ... remember you'll have to get a crazy jamb score and post utme to enter medical school which is quite challenging especially for someone who've left phy, chem, bio for some years.... note that it's also easier to migrate with nursing degree compare to MBBS degree as per say USMLE, PLAB is kinda costly and getting a residency is an utmost task.
This's my opinion tho... I'll prefer MBBS sha.
