An acquaintance in desperate need mailed dis to me.

PLS ADVISE. I'm a 42-yr old man. I had a fractured leg (broken tibia wt some bone loss estimated to be btw 4cm-6cm approx.). It had extensive wounds: tho' nt fully healed bt beta now than b4. D leg hs bn on ex-fixator since d accident, i.e. abt 14 months now.

Any moment frm now, a Surgeon is planning 'gap plating' aka bone grafting on d leg.

Foreseeing possible hassles, long run side effects, a friend advised trying native bone doctor. I don't even know anythin abt dis.

Pls. Has anyone in d house gone thru any of dis options? Or does anyone hv good knowledge of either?
