Yea, I know. What I'm saying in essence is either dis wavelength or dat wavelength, there are still some Nairalanders dat wl help out as time goes on. Afterall, God wl nt come down to do it 4 us, nor would we need to go back to campus to learn it.

I have been looking forward to this idea for long but unfortunately those who are vast in this business are not on Nairaland or a plainly hoarding information.

Bros, I wl nt want to totally agree wt u on dis. While it's true dat pple hoard info, yet a few genuine guys/gals are still here on NL wt gd intentions of help.

For example, on d importatn threads, dis was hw it started like child's play. B4 u knew it, a few guys came up wt detailed step by step DIY free guide which hv today liberated & empowered many youths who never could hv thought they can be importers. D threads are still vibrant.

Let's just be positive, we'll get there. All hitches wl be sorted out. Help is on d way!

Go to Data usage on ur phone settings. Click on Options u will see restrict background Data. Enable it then u are good to go

Thnks my guy. Bt when I tried enabling it, I gt dis msg ''if u restrict background mobile data, some apps & services won't work unless you're connected to a Wi-Fi network''. Now asked to 'Cancel' or 'Ok'.

So d question now is, if I click Ok to enable it, hw wl I know which app wl run or nt or wl require wikfi or nt?

Pls does anyone know hw possible is it to run only whatsapp on my android phone without any other app in d background?

I've noticed dat once my Data Connection is switched ON, both wanted & unwanted apps start sucking my data. Often times, I hv bn left to wonder hw abt 10mb depletes within just 5mins of reading two to four pages on Nairaland, for example.

Or is there any app to disable all running apps EXCEPT whatsapp? Or any app to allow only one app running at a time? Atleast if it is only whatsapp running, I can conveniently regulate when to hook up or nt.

It's nt impossible dat u may nt be well appreciated as imagined & may even be insulted sometimes, yet u kept d truth going. Dis totally confirms dat some are just born 'liberators'. Kudos to u guys.

Against dis backdrop, d present situation in d country & our govt. policies hv nt bn favorable of late. Increasing shipping/clearing charges, poor naira value esp. against dollar, non-regulated shipping acts/practices, extorting post-office charges even on free shipping items, etc. are all emerging factors affecting 'd surving youths' on dis runs now. If only our govt can appreciate dis good gestures of self-empowerment by dropping off some of dis 'killing' policies, d better it could hv bn for d nation at large. While many are already looking away frm importation or just managing to survive, something else hs to be done & done fast.

Why dis long 'story'? On behalf of die-hard Naija youths who are still longing to make ends meet, qualified bt nt still gainfully employed, MAY I HUMBLY REQUEST U LOOK INTO DIY GUIDE ON EXPORTATION NOW.

Dis is nt a total call off frm importation biz bt a call to be proactive. Whether we like or nt, our economy is tending towards dat direction now.

I only know about USA refurbished products. They are as new as new. Hope my English is not wrong.

I bought 7 printers in 2012 (2 refurbished Mx870, 2 new MX870, 1 new Canon MG5220 and 2 refurbished Canon MG5220 printer) and they was no difference between them.

Thnks again my Oga, Yes, u are right. I also know of (& hv used) some U.S refurbished products dat work great as new. Spotted some nice bt refurbished smartphones/products on Dubai sites bt nt just sure of dis their own refurbished types, whether they wl also be as good as dat d U.S.

Just needed to hear frm somebody who hv bought such refurbished things frm Dubai before now & their experience!

Manufacturers Refurbished are good. Though i haven't used any. As the name implies, it has been worked on. So it is different from a New item that has never been worked on.

On aliexpress, once u click Buy now > Confirm Order, d price appears automatically on Payment page. Bt on alibaba, I noticed d buyer will need to type in d price/amount by himself once Pay by escrow option is selected.

Pls I just want 2 know if I'm on d right track.

I bought a product, I'm nt happy with it right from day one. I've sent numerous msgs to d 'manger'.
I'm in a far away city, d only means of communication is via phone, n since he didn't deem it fit to reply my messages, I had to come here. No ill feelings.
I've since pack up the speaker, I would ve sent it bck to them if I could n forget bout d money.

Mine was also sent dwn to me in Warri & no complaints. Hope he will respond asap to your displeasure.

Battery won't last more than 1hr after 7hrs of charging..
You can't be charging and using it @d same time, as it will just go off.
Speaker is not loud.
It has a 'beat by Dre' logo written everywhere, but its Made in CHINA.
Only thing that works is d bluetooth, which kills battery.
In summary: Don't waste Ur 3k in buying this product, totally nt worth it.

A few months back, I also brought dis same speaker & a modem frm them. In all honesty, everything is working fine 4 me. He wil also want 2 call me to re-affirm I got d operation well. Till date, they keep sending sms 2 me abt their other products. Ironically, a few of my friends even brought dis same speaker on their olx store & none hs made any of such complaints.

I don’t really think dis your writeup is worth it. Try to seek audience wt them. I think they are d listening type.
