Hello people, Got into the US Tuesday night via Emirates.
Make I kuku share my experience as I might not have the time when the LOs arrive.

Got to Emirate counter 3.30pm and was asked for my fit to fly. Bags and all checked and I parted with 2k for the food bag I carried.
Surprised 10mins later I was called into Emirate office and was told I would not be allowed to fly! Chisos! O gini??
I was told at 32 weeks for multiple birth, i cannot fly! Chei! I look time, time look me...4.00pm, flight was 5 30pm.
With my big belle and tiny voice, I asked what could be done. And the nice and concerned Emirate staff just said if I could get another FTF that read 30 or 31 weeks, i would go! How i go do am nah, fly to my clinic and come back to airport in less than 40mins when I no be bat man
Well, thank God for technology and for the little little tips i used to give nurses each time I went for ante natal (Always tip a nurse or two, they can come in handy any time). Called up one of the nurses who sharply arranged another FTF with 30 weeks and sent it via whatsap. Good people of Emirate quickly printed it out and I was good to go! Na so I take enter Dubai and almost had the same experience at the Boston leg of the journey as the air hostesses asked for my FTF which they held unto and discussed with their oga for about 15 mins before they brought it back and said I was good!
By the way, i was treated oh so nicely becos I carry twins for belle... nice.
Shaa, fast forward to Boston POE, which by the way I didnt know would be, since I was DC bound.
E reach my turn o...

Cpb: And why are you here in the US?

Me: Vacation and child delivery.

Cpb: trending? (With a confused look on his face)

Me: Child delivery

Cpb what's that? Trending?

(Biko people, how 'child delivery' come take sound like 'trending' o

Me: Child birth! I came to have my baby here.

Cpb: Really? You pregnant?

(See question , with my big belle that is so intimidating)

Me: yes.

Cpb: who's paying for your bills?

Me: me. Self pay.

Cpb: hope you have evidence of payment and receipts...

Me: I have yet to pay, will do that when...

Cpb: (cuts in) do you have evidence you can pay?

Me: Yes, you want to see my money?

Cpb: if you dont mind

Me: (confidently brought out my bag of cripsy bills) Here we go boss

Cob: how much is that?

Me: xxxdollars and I have my dollar card and master card

Cpb: why do you want to birth in the US?

Me: i already had my first two in Nigeria and since I have the opportunity now and I can afford it, why not?

CpB: who stays in MD?

Me: My relative, cousine

Cpb: is he/she a visitor or resident?

Me: resident.

Cpb: how long did you stay when you came to the US last year?

Me: 5 days.

Cpb: and how long do you intend to stay now?

Me: 10 weeks.

Cpb (stamps me in )
And by the way, what do you do back home in Nigeria?

Me: I tell am

Cpb: oh great! Have a safe delivery

(Delivery... that word again)

Me: Thanks and God bless.

Na so i carry my big belle waka comot there o before he would change his mind. I eventually opened passport, guy stamped me in but left it open ended. So i fit stay more than six months sef. No be God

And by the way too, my bags weren't checked. All my fresh uha leaves, uziza, ukwa and even scent leaves follow me enter o. No be God

I don see my doctors o and I have yet to pay 'big' money and I am also being treated 'specially' becos na twins i carry #dancingskelewu

My challenge: my first bank dollar card has refused to work o. Hmmmmm, God knows what i would do in that branch if it is not corrected before i leave here.

End of story.
Guys, wish me luck as I await my LOs.

Make una sorry if this is a long read. I write for a living #smiles

Hello people. This is actually my first time of commenting on this thread though I follow it a lot.
Pls I desperately need information on some concerns I have.
I And my family have been travelling back and forth US since 2014 and we have even renewed our visa last year and I also used it to attend an event in July.
Now my worries...
I am pregnant now(with twins), due in May, would I still need to get another letter from embassey to tell them I want to give birth in the US?
When is the most advisable month to travel more so when I have to consider my work and also my sons I intend leaving behind.
Now most importantly, pls I need an affordable hospital in Maryland, pls does anybody know of any and how much (total package) it would cost.
God bless us all.
