Politics / Imo State And The Diaspora by mrslickk(m): 9:39pm On Jan 19, 2010
below is a video of a recent address by the imo state governor to the igbo community in washington DC

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVYTX79ClVg&NR=1

this kleptomaniac of a man is really pathetic and wallowing in self delusion along with his praise singers and co-kleptomaniacs! he seems to have extended his thieving tentacles to the naija community in US!

he is just beating about the bush as it is highly unlikely that any serious minded Igbo man in the diaspora will take these baseless and meaningless rantlings from mr. kleptomanic seriously simply because he happens to be governor. he did not win any valid election to become governor in the first place, so by definition he is part of the problem, not the solution.

please share your thoughts

Arsenal is truly the best team ever to grace the english premier league, Its all about the soccer, not about the million euro transfers. Pure football, a beauty to watch. They play total football. grin

[/color] The blues (chelsea) are living up to their name these days!! going thru football blues!! undecided

They should not have let morinho go.

Arsenal Forever!!
Business / Re: The Palms Shopping Mall Has Finally Opened by mrslickk(m): 2:05pm On May 03, 2006
Nice development, an ultramodern shopping mall in lagos can do lots for the local economy. I doubt though that young people and working class nigerians will be spending much time there though, especially with high unemployment rate and other negative economical factors which I don't need to get into right now.

The whole point of a shopping mall is to promote economical and social activity in a given neighbourhood/community and it looks like that shopping mall was put there not for all the right reasons. afterall there's nothing wrong with the markets already in place in lagos and other parts of naija, (read ariaria, onisha international market etc). As long as its accessible to all nigerians and nigerian traders/businessmen its cool, otherwise i'm not bothered.

O ga di mma, (thats a promise)
