We should stop forcing corpers into teaching because we are too greedy to pay proper teachers. Youth corpers are not teachers, they are not qualified to to teach, they are not supposed to be teaching, do the right thing!
You are absolutely wrong here. Like 100% wrong. Some youth corpers are graduates of education who have also abtained their TRCN certs. So they fully qualified to teach. You can only refer to those who graduated from other faculties apart from education.

I will never advice my worst enemy to work in a school except the ones that pay well on the island (Green springs, Corona, etc). For the mainland, Oakwood, Pampers, Grace high school, ECT. Why should anyone be earning 30k in this country while the children in nursery school pay almost 200k as school fees. If you want to waste your youth, then work in a school. I worked in a school for 6 months and resigned. I refused to waste my youth and not even gain any experience. I stayed at home for almost a year before I got a job that put me on a career path.

It is better to sell tomatoes in front of your house than to work in a low paying private school. Some people think it gives mothers time for their children, that is a big lie. Private schools don't release their teachers until 4pm. You go to work from 7am to 4pm everyday just to earn 30k that can't even buy your toiletries and foodstuffs. All teachers should start thinking business and dump that profession. By the time nobody is applying for teaching jobs, the school owners will will be forced to pay teachers well. Teaching is a difficult job yet the least rewarded in this country.
Many people who are after payment rarely have something spectacular to offer. Many teachers are too lazy and selfish. They will never do anything right unless policed. I won't justify anyone for underpaying and at the same time I won't crucify anyone for paying what he can afford. Teachers have their own portion of blame. Their eye service is out of this world for majority of them, especially those who go around lamenting about poor salary. I know what happens in that circle.

SO, WHAT EXACTLY IS HAPPENING TO NIGERIAN EDUCATION

It is not education if you loose closely. Individuals are not lacking in character. Courtesy of contemporary civilisation and westernization of African culture. That is the problem not education.

And For how long can people remain calm if things continue this way?

This is a very ugly situation
As long as Nigeria politics in concerned the only people that are really Nigerians in the heart are Igbos. Igbos can reject their son and vote someone from another ethnic group on the ground of competence. They did it to the almighty Ojukwu and voted Obasanjo, if I am correct.

So igbos have presented with their votes. Noise makers can continue, yes whatever they are doing now is only bit noise.

This is just the beginning 7months gone, 3 years 3 months more to go

But let me shock you guys. Many Nigerian voters have short memories. Come 2026,things would become slightly bearable. Politician would c9me and share a few cups of rice and few loafs of 100 naira bread and the improvised citizens would vote for them again.

But the biggest problem is inec because they are the ones who would declare the winners and since the voter apathy that would be experienced in 2027 would be the worse so far, rigging would be easy

In all, only thru divine intervention can this country be salvaged because by human efforts, there is no hope in sight
It is not true no one voted Tinubu, he rigged himself in.

Yorubas are sophisticated, I don't see any Hausas protesting against Buhari or any Igbo protesting against Obituary

Only Yorubas can protest against its own people if we are not seeing result that we votes for

You and your useless son called Tinubu the useless president should protest. Igbos are bigger that being blind. Igbos saw it before now and warned. Now you are showing nzogbo nzogbu on empty stomach. I am at work and typing calmly but you are under the sun protesting against your useless son who triples as a criminal, a drug Lord and certificate forger.

Religion / Re: Christians From Other Denominations Will Bow Before You - Adeboye Prays For RCCG by MrSly(m): 4:04pm On Feb 18

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsUzhGmGcgI?feature=shared

Pastor Adeboye’s prayer that Christians of other denominations will bow before RCCG members sparks controversy!

A video clip being shared online shows him making the prayer at the 2021 youth convention of the church.

He made reference to how the sons of the prophet bowed before Elisha after he was endowed with the double portion of Elijah’s power.

Adeboye then prayed that as the prophet’s sons bowed to Elisha, Christians from other denominations would bow before them. The entire congregation roared with an amen response.

Reacting to the video, OO Nwoye wrote:

Because they worship a different Jesus. These pastor suppose get PA wey go dey call their attention whenever they begin to derail.

Rubbish. You judged someone and labelled him poor because he replied you. Now you are claiming to be paying 30 people daily while you have time quoting people. What an incoherent logic. The spoken words never matched with actions base on your on standards and premise of argument. And I wonder how many sane people are actually here.

This is a despicable and utterly reprehensible act by these children.

Nobody should allow kids denigrate the office or person of the president.

This is an indictment on us all whatever our political leaning.

I may hold a strong aversion for my president but I can't condescend to such unruly behavior as depicted in this video.

The management of this school should be queried for dereliction of duty.
You sound so civil but the matter at hand has long gone beyond that. Respect is reciprocal. Tinubu has brought shame upon himself and his generations so he sold out his respect when he sold out his integrity just to quench his thirst for power. And you expect small children to respect him. Respect him as who exactly? As a bonafide and legitimate president? Or an elder statesman worthy of emulation? How exactly should they respect him.
