The problem with a subsidy now is our debt is too high for us to pay for a subsidy without borrowing more money, which would worsen our debt profile.

Keeping subsidy after 2012 in particular led to the situation with the debt we have now, caused not only by massive borrowing , but by government printing money in excess, which made the bad matter worse.

And removing corruption? Tell me, which Nigerian government has removed corruption? Na Atiku that is as corrupt as tinubu wey go remove corruption? Even Peter Obi , he is surrounded by corrupt people. Ya think those ones would allow him remove corruption.?

Plus the main issue with subsidy is government has no control over oil prices. So, when oil prices go high, cost of subsidy goes high, meaning more borrowing to pay for subsidy.

And should government be selling crude at discount to dangote, that means reduced government income, which means....more borrowing to pay for subsidy

Tinubuconomics proves you wrong. With subsidy Nigeria had less debt and now without subsidy the debt has exponentially skyrocketed.

Ever since the ADC presidential candidate Alh Atiku Abubarka hinted on returning sudsidy.

There have been a loud chorus of his return to subsidy by many Nigerians.

Prominent Amongst them is NDC presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi who has promised to return subsidy.

Judging by SDM revelation one can say that the removal of subsidy without building and enabling the right environment and system has put Nigeria in a precarious state.

I want the subsidy returned but not the usual subsidy. This time I want the subsidy to be given to the local refineries in terms of supplying them srude oil at a low price and them place on them a maximum price control to enable Nigerians but crude at a cheap price. At the same time let the boarders be secured to avoid smuggling of petrol to neighbouring countries. That is the subsidy I want not the one that empowers foreign powers and importers.

Seems he has begun to lose the goal gradually. People have their individual differences. PO knows not more than 99.999999999.... of his supporters. So I find it laughable and at the same time funny to somehow link PO to any one that defends or supports him.

PO has concluded plans to sell crude to dangote at a subsidised price so that Nigerians will buy cheap fuel. He also designed a security model to secure our boarders to avoid smuggling.

Yes, you are right concerning Atiku and Tinubu. However, my own conviction which I know is that the masses have more roles to play in the rejection of tinubu than the opposition and they are already doing so. Coming en masse to vote is a great way to start and protecting our votes is another great way to conclude.

The biggest politician currently from the North is Atiku, the most popular politician currently in the south is Obi. A combo of Atiku and Obi would've easily unseated Tinubu. But Tinubu is coasting to victory next year, not because he is the most popular candidate, but because there will be no Atiku/Obi joint ticket.

Tinubu has not pathway to any victory, unless maybe, that of irigbija village head.

I am very ashamed of Soludo. He is a disappointment to us. All the roads he built are bad already, insecurity is at the highest. Just last week a child was washed away by flood and no peem from Soludo. But here he is flexing muscle just to convince himself of his illusion.

NPF should get busy. Seems they have no serious engagements. Claiming that you have identified the man, for what reason should you identify or arrest the man? That he is a pilot officer does not remove the fact that he is entitled to his opinion. He was not partisan in the video, he did not incite violence, he was not seen intimidating people for political affiliation. He just spoke his own opinion about PO and 2027 election.
