Is that so? Governor crowning Kings? Nawaoooo! Little wonder we disagree in almost everything in thins country. How can you expect someone whose tradition has it that small boy that his a governor by whatever means will crown a king to understand you when you stand up straight agaisnt a political leader. To then over there their political leaders are their own 'next to the gods.'

So that means they should allow Dangote to treat Nigeria workers the way he wants because he built the refinery as a private owner. Whether private or government they must be guided by the law of the land regarding engaging and disengaging workers. Apart from what Dangote is doing many workers are suffering in the hands of many employers without protection. Many a time people will work and employers will find reason not to pay you and to sack you. Some employers have become so notorious about such a behaviour. They were a time that my brother worked for a lady. Time to pay him she told him if she gave him employment letter.
You can easily take sides in this matter but since you are not working in that refinery you will be standing with Dangote but those who are working and suffering there will say otherwise.
Someone said did they force them to work. Sometimes I wonder how people reason.
Don't be childish in thinking.
You are already taking side but you aren't Dangite staff and not privy to the issue. So watch from the fence while the situation develop fully

Foreign Affairs › Re: 'I will run Gaza': Trump's "Comprehensive plan to end war in Gaza" (Full Text) by MrSly(m): 7:17am On Sep 30, 2025
Righteousness2:
Summary of Trump'sDeal

“THIS IS THE DEAL:

1. The return of the hostages within 72 hours.
2. Disarming Hamas of its weapons.
3. Gaza Strip demilitarized.
4. The Strip will be administered by an international body headed by Trump. Oh, and also Blair.
5. In the end – ISRAEL in the perimeter.

6. Trump understands and accepts Netanyahu’s opposition to a Palestinian state.
7. The Palestinian Authority will not get a foothold in running the Strip in any way – with Hamas there’s nothing even to discuss.
8. If the Palestinian Authority does not pass the reforms Trump set for it – changing its education system, stopping payments to terrorists, recognizing the State of Israel as the Jewish state, disarming terrorist organizations, renouncing the right of return, recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital – it will not be part of rehabilitating the Strip.

9. Whoever wishes to leave Gaza will be able to leave, and the Arab states will contribute their share and support him.
And if Hamas says NO –
Trump: Bibi, ‘finish the job’ like you know how.

THIS IS WHAT VICTORY LOOKS Like for ISRAEL.

Personally, I don’t see any scenario that Hamas TERRORISTS will accept it!
Irrespective of whatever,
They Have 2 Choices:
Either to Accept and leave.
Or to be Harden like Pharaoh and Be DESTROYED

You read very aptly.

After two years of tinubus misrule Judiciary which is strongly in the palm of Tinubu wants to arrest Yakubu the man who rigged tinubu in, with the judiciary being the sole accomplice. APC trying to create some evidence that the yakubu did not work for them in 2023 peradventure sth happens against their expectation. No arrest will ever take place but be rest assured that this headline will be resurfaced in the future by APC miscreants especially the ones on naira land to prove whatever point according to their drug master's desire. My dear, every state government in Nigeria regulates recognition, instruments of office and government interaction with its traditional heads. A king must be recognized by the state government, not just by his friends and street or association members.
Maybe Yoruba Kings. Our kings don't need govt validation.

Kings are approved by government all over the country. See case of new Ibadan king with the governor of Oyo, Ganduje with Emir of Kano saga. You don't just arrogate title and positions to yourself, follow due process.
Is he properly coronated according to law? Is he using the right title? That your friends or street call you Ooni or Eze doesn't mean you go bragging around that you are King of Lagos or President of Nigeria.
Our own king are not object of corruption of govt. He has the spiritual and political authority of the ancestors. INUGO?!!!!!!?

An Interview with Oba Alhaji Abdulazeez Adebayo Olateju, The Oba Yoruba in Enugu,
Who settled in Enugu 46 years ago, in 1979

Excerpts:
Interviewer: Where are you from, sir?
Oba: I am from Ede, in Osun State.

Interviewer: You speak Igbo so fluently. Where did you learn it from?
Oba (responding in Igbo): I learned the language here in Enugu. God gave me the gift of understanding languages and the ear to hear. Many people often wonder if I was born or schooled here, but that’s not the case. I was already an adult, fully grown when I relocated to Enugu from Osun. I even voted during the era of Jim Nwobodo and later for Shehu Shagari.

Interviewer: I also learned you speak Hausa. Did you learn it here too?
Oba (replying in Hausa): Yes, I speak and understand Hausa fluently but I have never lived in the North. I picked it up here in Enugu, just by listening to people around me.

Oba: Everywhere I go in Igboland, people take me as one of their own. My grandmother who once tried to discourage me from settling here in Igboland but before she passed in 2012 was very happy and always thanking God for leading me to Igboland. I kept bringing all my relatives here and today they are all doing well because Igboland is good to us.
The Yoruba's hate against ndi Igbo is the more reason why igbos will always be ahead along side with progressive Yorubas like this Oba Yoruba of Enugu, et al. We welcome and respect traditional institutions of every tribe and accomodate sincerely without noise. Govt in Lagos has arrested an Igbo man because he iclaims to be eze ndi Igbo na Lagos. Shame on tribal bigots.

Its a joke and obvious shame that a President that his Senior Special Assistant on Strategy clearly notified Nigerians of his attendance at the UNGA avoided the event.

Bayo Onanuga had informed Nigerians through his social media handle that his Principal PBAT would be attending the UNGA but the President failed to attend sending a negative message to the prowling eyes of masses and opposition.

President Tinubu seems to be scared of the unpredictability of Trump and the message this sends is that baba has unresolved diplomatic issues.

Your headline is disingenuous, why make it look like it had anything to do with Nigeria?. It was an intiative for to designate some parts of their municipalities as home towns for some selected African countries. And if they cancelled the initiative, what's our business with that?. If Government of Japan did not consult the local people before announcing such an initiative and the local people protested against it, which prompted their Government to reverse it, then what's our own business?. Why make it as if it had anything to do with us?. Be taking it easy with this agenda.
Yes, it has every thing to do with Nigerians govt. The clueless Tinubu govt that has no achievement to his name wanted to claim that Japanese initiative tinubu govt achievement. That corrupt manipulation escalated the situation negatively hence the cancellation. This govt is a collosal disappointment.

The same analysis that made ikwerres detest anything Igbo.
You are Anioma, you are my brother, is different from you are Igbo
More than half of the minority ethnic groups have close ties with the 3 major ethnic groups. Does it mean they all should now abandon their ethnic groups?
I hardly hear yorubas or hausas doing this kind of argument. It can only Bring resentment. You guys will soon drive Anioma to that same point of resentment
Anioma is Igbo. Even the word is anioma is an Igbo word. Many other places in Delta has Igbo names. In fact Delta knows that some of them are igbos. There is even a language called Delta Igbo in delta state. They have Onitsha ugbo, isele ukwu, ogwashiukwu, etc. All these names are of Igbo origin. So face Yoruba matters for your mental health.

Nonsense
Aniomas are Aniomas
Igbos are Igbos
Let everybody retain their ethnic identity
Closeness doesn't mean oneness
Yes Yorubas are yorubas, Lagos is Lagos. Let everybody retain their ethinic identity.

It baffles me how you a Yoruba would claim Lagos, a place with a name that is has no origin in Yoruba language of any dialet yet you have problem with an ethinic group identifying with igbos which is the ethinic group where even their name 'anioma' has its origin.

If double standard has ethnicity it would be a Yoruba.
