Children Practice Ikoyi do not require an appointment. Ensure you get there before 10am though they open 8am. Go with cash.

Hi Everyone!

@Mesh 2003 The settling down process and getting to do all necessary things kept me from updating the forum.

Apologies to everyone. Mesh have been a fantastic host, like very fantastic........I met her the same day I arrived in Vancouver for a meal as I was very hungry cos of the long journey and it didn't stop there oh, I had dinner of Rice n Lasagna at her place on Sunday. We have become good friends and talk for hours like we knew each other many decades past - amazing story of how NL connects people.

Will surely return more often to the forum as I am better settled though the school workload for here no be joke, dem no dey play at all............

I will be willing to help any one coming to Vancouver n environs just like my Mesh2003 as my throwback to this forum.

It shall all end in praise!

So @Mr Smith has been forming busy(though I understand,the school system here is crazy). He has not told the house how he came and ate well cooked rice and stew the day he got into Vancouver. Even last Sunday I invited him to come and eat lasagna and coconut jellof rice. Its amazing how nairaland connects you to people. I couldn't pick him up from the airport cos I don't have a car yet. Will get a car next year and will be willing to pick up people as they come. For now, I can offer well cooked naija food of your choice when you arrive in Vancouver. Just PM me. Good luck to all TRV hopefuls.

Big bro I feel you!! I want to use this medium to encourage every hopeful, one thing my brother didn't mention in his post was the "WAIT" and "ANXIETY"

There were times when we would keep a permanent tab on our MyCic account and keep refreshing every minute

In all the wait lets totally be positive
grin grin ;DThe wait and axiety no be here!!!!!

Children Practice is a better option as you do not require an appointment and cheaper. Q-Life is about 40k and was told the next available appointment was a month from the the day I went there.

Children Practice is 28k and do not require an appointment, just be there before 10am and go with cash.
lordjayabs:
Hi guys, please how much does the hospitals (for example, Q-Life Family clinic) in Lagos charge for medicals

Dear All,

Long post alert

I have bin a not very quiet observer of this thread except for my few post seeking clarifications on some gray areas.

I am indeed very glad to have known dis forum where a lot of selfless and worthy service can be gotten to ensure a successful TRV application. Kudos to all the gurus in the house.................@maziude, @Austin pee, @wealth360, @justwise @osemigho and my guy @canadiannurse just to mention a few.

CanadianNurse and I went thru the process of responding to CIC when we were required to provide prove of first year tuition payment and evidence of funds to cover for living expense at about the samended time. It was a moment to remember because one of the statement from @CanadianNurse was that we have a "CONDITIONAL APPROVAL" . We were successful and it ended in praise!!!!!!

I went to reach out to anyone and everyone going to Vancouver this fall or already in Vancouver to kindly let's communicate so we can share ideas and learn to help us newbies in the house settle as soon as we arrive, noticed a few post here where the moniker destination or location is Vancouver.
@Silti
@Omokay24
@Deezoneclu
@mesh 2003

However, not very fresh.............. let me share timeliness leading to my TRV approval with the house

Hello dear friends, i am about to go for my medicals and i am currently contemplating on which medical lab or clinic i should visit bearing the cost in mind and the speed at which my medical test will reflect on my application.

My options are between IOM and children practice.

Please which of them is best and most advisable.

I am open to other suggestions as well.

Thank you as i anticipate your prompt response.
Children Practice is Ideal. Fee is N28k and my result reflected after two days. Ensure you are there between 8-10am.
