Solve insecurity situation in 100 days,
Free education for all etc.

Greatest achievement in the senate:
Built VIP toilets in Onitsha with his 250 million naira constituency allowance.

Hahaha! Good Lord! Ngige is a crook. He has spent 3 years in the senate, what has he achieved? He is no more than a backbencher. So the people of Anambra West voted this man in at the expense of the vibrant Prof. Dora Akunyili? SMH

There is no need to panic. We are currently experiencing a shortfall in power supply due to repair works going on at the Afam VI power station. Everything will return to normal when it has been fixed, possibly before the week runs out.

Seun nd his mods are also public servants in their own niche, they shouldn't be immune to insults. Seun can remain silent if he likes, he can as well talk, it doesn't add a dollar to my account. I've made my point.

You are clutching at straws here.

If you cannot abide the rules, then leave the politics section. You cannot abuse fellow Nairalanders but we shall rain abuses on GEJ because he is slowpoke and a dunce.

Aha! Another example. Seun do something about this rule.

I know you, please sexkid please do the needful for this man for calling me ediot. If action is not taken asap I will unleash my slaying mod on this pikin way no dey hear word.
He should do the needful cos u were insulted but he shouldn't do the needful when GEJ is insulted. What makes him different from you? Is he less human than you are? If the mods cannot ban a nairalander for insulting GEJ or other public office holders, then I don't see any reason why someone should be banned for insulting a nairalander.
Politics / Re: Nairaland Bans People For Insulting A Member But Not The President by MRWHINNIG: 5:00pm On Nov 11, 2013
If the president and every other public servant can be insulted, so can each and every nairalander, from seun to the mods and whatever. Rule 2 should be scrapped if it must be seen as fair and unbiased. Someone's post was hidden here just because he called seun and the mods slowpokes, but none of those posts where Jonathan was called a slowpoke, a ret.a.rd, a clueless leader etc was hidden.

I sense double standard here.
Politics / Re: Nairaland Bans People For Insulting A Member But Not The President by MRWHINNIG: 4:43pm On Nov 11, 2013
Seun:
There is no universal definition of insult, so if we try to ban every form of insult on Nairaland, we'd end up in unending debates about what is an insult and what's not an insult. We don't have the resources to enforce that kind of rule. If we did, we'd probably drive almost everyone away.
If that is the case, the rule should be scrapped. What is good for the goose (the privilege given to a nairalander) is also good for the gander (that privilege should also be extended to the president).

ballabriggs: Why should any sane human wonder why President Jonadunce is being cursed in this and all other forums?

President Jonadunce is a curse on this nation as he is incompetent, lazy, docile, useless and mentally unbalanced.

He has no respect for this country. Why then should I respect such a useless man who oversaw one of the biggest theft of our national wealth via petroleum subsidies?

He is a joke and a fraud and so deserves to be cursed.
This man called the president all sorts of names here. What if I use those same words on a Nairalander, won't I be banned? This is a clear example of double standard.

Afam4eva: @OP
You started off on a wrong footing. What's soo special about the president that he should not be insulted but other public figures should? I think you should be clamouring against the use of insulting words on anybody ranging from Nairaland members, people's Parents, public figures it can be achieved in the guise of "using fowl language". It used to be a rule on Nairaland but not anymore.
I don't think you understood what I was trying to say, if you did you'll find out that we are on the same page.
Politics / Re: Nairaland Bans People For Insulting A Member But Not The President by MRWHINNIG: 4:12pm On Nov 11, 2013
Seun: We apologize for this apparent inconsistency, but we do not think that we can eliminate it. We cannot permit Nairaland members to insult each other, but a rule against insulting the president would place us on a slippery slope leading to nowhere. For example, supporters of all presidential candidates will say that if the president must not be insulted, then their candidates should have the same privilege. It won't end well.
The best thing for you to do Seun is to place a ban on all forms of insult, be it an insult to the President or a nairalander or any other average Joe going about his normal business. An insult is an insult. Let's call a spade a spade.

That dude suppose to be in jail for heavens sake !!! you cant give what you don't have, Ngige does not have the moral fibre to fight crime cos he was once their associate, he cannot build anything in 6months cos for two years he could not do anything as a senator other than attracting VIP toilet to FGGC nise.......kai !!! Politics / Ngige To Solve Security Problem In Anambra In 100 Days, build Airport In 6 Months by MRWHINNIG: 2:05pm On Nov 11, 2013
The governorship candidate of the All
Progressive Congress, APC, senator Chris
Ngige yesterday said he would tackle head
long the vexed issue of security in the state
within the first 100 days in office if voted as
the next governor of the state come November
16.
Speaking with Vanguard, Ngige regretted that
in the past eight years of the present
administration there had been unprecedented
cases of various crimes ranging from
kidnapping, armed robbery among others in
the state that were not witnessed during his
tenure as governor of the state.
Citing section 2(14) of the 1999 Constitution
Ngige said the government of Mr Peter Obi
had failed in the cardinal and fundamental
duty of governance.
He said the first step which he described as
preventive would be to make the educational
curriculum have vocational training
orientation so that after secondary education,
school leavers could create jobs for
themselves.
Besides,he said he would boost graduate
employment by creating agricultural
settlement that would employ thousands of
young graduates and further improve the
power situation through procuring independent
power plants, IPP to generate power for the
State.
In the curative approach, Ngige pledged to
synchronise the security system to enable the
Vigilante Services and the Nigeria Police work
together seamlessly.
Ngige who is also a member of the Senate
Committee on Police Affairs threw his weight
behind the age long demand for state police
by some section of Nigerians.

In an interview with an Enugu-based radio station, he promised to build an airport in anambra state within the first 6 months of his administration.
