Politics / Re: Odili Left CKC When Obi Was 6 Years Old - Peoples Gazette by Mucasina01(m): 2:17pm On Nov 18, 2022
etokhana:

https://gazettengr.com/in-attacking-tinubu-peter-obi-falsely-claims-peter-odili-was-his-high-school-senior-in-onitsha/

Gazette have really shown that they know nothing on journalism. Simple investigation they can't do only to come online to display their ignorance.

Dr PETER ODILI was senior prefect CKC of 1967 but he and his mates could not write their O'levels in 1967 because of the outbreak of Civil war.

Dr Peter ODILI Wrote his O'levels 1971 in CKC and spent another 2 years for his A'levels (HSC). Peter ODILI was a legendary footballer in CKC.
ODILI was in CKC 1962-67 then 71-73 .

So PETER OBI is right. Peter ODILI was his senior, he is right about CKC the school. Peter ODILI was CKC's talisman on the football pitch.

Now can all of you Pharisees and Sadducees go and find something reasonable to do with your time or better still go and enquire of the school or who were BAT's school mates?

Peter Obi is a sincere man to a great extent, politics aside.

Obi claim Peter Odili was his senior boy In school

*How exactly is a 6 year old in Secondary school, to have a senior boy as Peter Obi in senior class form 5 or SS3?!

* He also used the pronoun "We couldn't have played"

Question remains how does a 6 years old in primary knows Odili a senior boy and graduating student of SS3 to use we as a personal pronoun

This is why SouthEast have ridiculous Governors since 1999, from drunkard like Obiano, to Statue molder like Okorocha, to Hopeless Uzodingba, to Kerosene Ikpeazu, to chronic lair Obeer

Nobody would allow such charlatans near Aso Rock

.

Odili was in CKC 1962-67 then 71-73.
Obi and Odili were in the same school and not on the same team. So Peter Obi has all the right to use "We" as he was a student of the school at that point.

You hating an entire region for no just cause, will consume you if you don't check it.

Timubu is a male prostitute, he will sleep with anything, drink his vomit , deny hiss mother just to become president.

Tinubu cursed oloshoooo

Most Yorubas think Tinubu has got their backs but the truth remains he does everything for his personal interest. Tinubu was a major critic of GEJ but have remained mute in this Buhari administration despite the hardship and misrule because he thinks he's next in line to be President.

GEJ had wanted to install Mrs Mulikat a Yoruba as Speaker House of Representatives, Tinubu worked against her instead bought legislators from the west over to support Tambuwal for his selfish interest. GEJ again renamed University of Lagos to MKO University in honor of MKO Abiola, as usual Tinubu and co kicked against it.

I have not heard Peter Obi criticized ipob and the so called unknown gun men before.

Does that mean he is in support of what they are doing in the east?

Have you heard Tinubu or Atiku condemn Oduduwa agitators or Boko Haram and Bandits?
Politics / Re: Muslim-Muslim Ticket: Nigerians Have Thrown Away Competence, Capacity - APC by Mucasina01(m): 11:23am On Aug 01, 2022
Tinubu may have good intentions like you said but the fact remains that he is old, senile and frail. If eventually he wins as the President of this country (God forbid o), his govt would tow the same part as the present administration. The fortunate few (cabals) would hijack the country for their personal gains and at the detriment of the masses. If he had supported a more competent and younger candidate, it would have been a different case. As it stands now, there's a more competent, younger, healthier, development-driven candidate in the person of HE Mr Peter Obi.

If you could be frank to yourself, would you rather employ Tinubu at his current state to oversee the affairs of your collapsing company as against a more competent, healthier and younger applicant?

Nigeria is sick and at the verge of collapse, the task of rebuilding and making it work again will be an enormous one. It will require amongst other attributes physical strength which your candidate lack at this point of his life. A sinking country would affect us all, same with a prosperous one. Let's have a rethink and put ethnicity and party affiliations aside for the good of the Country.

KingKO22:
Said it all.

History is there for us to extrapole about our future
The history of Tinubu as governor of Lagos state pinpoint and depicts how he apppinted nd accomodotates people on merits and competency rather than favoritism

Likewise, history of Peter Obi as governor pointing to how extradite or deported people from other states.

With the above reason, we need a unifier and progressively visionary leader like Tinubu.

Properties / 5 Ways To Make Money In The Real Estate Industry by Mucasina01(m): 10:34pm On Feb 01, 2018
The demand for real estate has continued to upsurge as a result of increase in population caused by the onward migration of people from the rural to the urban areas and the quest to own a house. Indeed, the real estate sector in Nigeria is gradually gaining grounds.

With the numerous opportunities that abound on the real estate industry, one stands to make large profits. It is pitiful to note that most people do think it requires large capital to venture into real estate business, however, there are many different ways to make money in real estate. Some for the big players and some you will venture with little or no capital. Ride with us as we outline the different opportunities while you make your choice as your money could carry you and grow in the business.

1. Real Estate Agent/Realtor
Becoming a real estate agent or realtor simply means working as an intermediary between property owners and prospective buyers. It is pretty simple as one could start by looking out for properties to let, for sale and for lease, help get prospective buyers for the property owners and you will be paid a percentage (usually 10%) as commission on the amount the property is sold or rented.
To really make it big on this business, one needs to equip oneself with necessary equipment like a camera to capture these properties and leverage on the internet to advertise them on social media and real estate and property websites like www.realagent.com.ng. Remember you can venture into this as part-time work with little or no capital and grow significantly.

2. Property Development
This business opportunity involves large capital and the big players in the industry all engage in this as real estate developers. They acquire properties including old and dilapidated properties in perceived developing areas and locations, develop and renovate them into exquisite flats/apartments, commercial buildings, estates etc. and sell at a very high profit. They make up to 100% Return on Investment (ROI) within short period of time based on their marketing and advertising strategies.

3. Real Estate Rentals
You can rent virtually every of your real estate properties whether house, hostels, shops, office space, warehouse, event place etc. and get paid. This is an easy way to make money for a life time. Remember to renovate your real estate properties over time to make renting easier and faster.

4. Land Flipping
This means buying of land and quickly reselling it for profit. Land appreciates with time and with the presence of developments in a particular area can skyrocket the purchase price within a very short period.

For instance, I have a friend that bought a piece of land for N800,000 on October, 2016 and by February 2017 when the Government built road and provided the area with steady light, that same piece of land was sold for N1.7 million. He actually made over 100% profit within that short period and with little or no effort. Currently, I learnt lands at that area are sold not less than N2.5 million.

5. Property Leasing
Another money spinning opportunity. You could lease your piece of land or open space for farming purposes or other temporary businesses while you wait to sell or develop it. They will be paying you monthly rent while the property still appreciates for future sell.

Do not forget to consult a legal practitioner to prepare lease agreement document to forestall future differences.

The incessant outbreak of fire at homes during the harmattan season have been on the increase. Its ravaging effects have been seen in the destruction of properties worth billions of Naira, varying degrees of injuries and loss of lives.
Research has it that majority of the disasters witnessed during this period are caused by human errors. It is now vital, Nigerians be at alert to avert such occurrences of fire outbreaks. “Caution is the watchword”.
The following useful tips on how to safeguard against fire outbreaks are to be adhered to the latter to forestall fire outbreak this season:

BE CAUTIOUS OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES AND POINTS
People have to be safety-conscious by ensuring that they switch off all electrical appliances and points in their homes before they go out. They should also ensure to unplug these appliances from the points to avoid surge current.
Care must be taken to avoid overloading of electrical appliances on the same fuse and improper electrical installation in homes can be risky and can cause a fire outbreak.

CONTACT PROFESSIONALS FOR YOUR ELECTRICAL WORKS
Contact a professional to fix intensive electrical jobs in your home while you can handle Small jobs, such as swapping out a light bulb.
Do not try to cut cost by carrying out such works yourself.

DON’T STORE PETROL AND OTHER INFLAMMABLE MATERIALS AT HOMES
Causes of fire outbreaks during the harmattan seasons have been traced to the hoarding of petrol in homes by Nigerians to beat perceived shortages during this season.
Government at all level have warned against the storage of petrol and other inflammable materials like gas, wood, alcohol should also be put away from our homes, offices, shops that could aid fire outbreak.
For those using generators, they should ensure their generators are not refuelled while working and the generators are to be kept outside to avoid flumes.

BE CAUTIOUS WHILE COOKING
Adequate care should be taken while cooking in the kitchen. You should always stay in the kitchen to keep an eye on what you are cooking. Don’t wander off to check your phone or anything else. Also, when cooking, don’t leave hand towels, curtains and other flammable items too close to flames.
While cooking, pay attention to what you wear. Make sure your clothing is not loose. Keep it short and fitted to avoid setting your sleeve on fire.
Gas cylinders are to be placed outside, far from the heat in the kitchen. Furthermore, endeavor to know the expiring date of your cooking gas cylinder.

AVOID INCESSANT BUSH AND SOLID WASTE BURNING
Bush and solid waste burning, especially in rural communities, have also been identified as major causes of fire outbreak at homes. As our environment becomes dusty and hazy with dryness to everything, including trees, wooden items, leaves and furniture, dry winds can escalate the fire out of proportion and consume the homes.
People are hereby urged to be mindful of bush and solid waste burning during the harmattan period and ensure that the fires do not spread to nearby buildings or other property around.

PUBLIC ENLIGHTENMENT
Intensifying public enlightenment efforts to educate people on the dos and don’ts to avoid fire outbreaks during the harmattan period and intimate them on the dangers of careless handling of highly inflammable materials.
Very importantly, children should not be allowed to play with matches or naked light and they are to be supervised while using firecrackers if they must use it.

NEED FOR A FIRE EXTINGUSHER IN EVERY HOME
People should ensure that they have fire extinguishers in their homes to put out fires if they ever have an incident to protect their lives and the lives of those around them.
To avoid running around the house in a panic looking for a fire extinguisher, it is advisable to keep them in these essential places like the kitchen, near sources of heat, bedrooms, garage and workshop etc.
