Coming here to vent out my frustration is not to destroy their business or reputation.
I am here to warn people to beware of the worst customer service that Clubkonnect offers.
Honestly this is not the first time i will try and buy data from them. They do deliver.
However, anytime there is a problem with payment confirmation or error, you can be rest assured the money is gone.
Early this year, I introduced a friend to them for his data needs. He sent the payment through airtime and uptill this moment he was not reimbursed nor given the data despite calls and text messages back then.
We gave up when they kept promising to rectify it.
Fast forward to 24th of October, my payment from Wema bank was successful and yet they refused to credit my account.
I have already used almost N400 to call just because of N700. The keep making endless promises for since.
The N700 is small, but the fact that whenever they have issues at their end it is customers that will suffer it is uncalled for.
Clubkonnect need to stop doing this.
I will advise you to be careful with them.
They have the worst customer service you can see around.
No regards whatsoever for their customers.

I have summoned a prophet to curse them for me.. wait a little, clubkonnect will bankrupt and their CEO will be imprisoned.

Hi, I have been married for 9 years now, the problem I have with my husband is that his family members keep sucking him dry and the way he neglects us his immediate family.

He is the first child of 7 children, his siblings even the married ladies keep asking him for money. He keeps spending money on them and their husbands. His brothers keep crying they are broke, they keep leeching off him.

We have 2 kids and I have told him we need to start saving for their future, I pay the electricity bill, foodstuffs, and most times the children school fees, he pays the house rent and rarely keeps money for home upkeep, he sometimes drops two thousand and that's it for the whole week. He always complains he has no more, but once his family calls him he sends money immediately.

I have saved enough to buy a land and I am not planning to include his name in the property. I don't know what to deal with, his family entitlement mentality or the way he neglects the kids and I and treat us like outsiders.

I am really pissed off and tired.

You have done well..Keep saving, dont include his name in the property you buy..Since it is so glaring that he won't listen to your advise or change anytime soon .

Are you sure you don't have any personal grudge with Clubkonnect Are you sure you do send them your Payment notification after making payments? They also have another option that allows you to make use of your ATM to fund your wallet. I have been an active user of Clubkonnect for the past three years and I have never had any regret patronizing them. Am sure if they are scammers most of us who patronizes Clubkonnect actively and earn awesome income daily would have stopped patronizing them. Imagine a website that allow you access to 1gb data at the rate of #335. I personally resell at #450 to my customers and I make #115 per transaction.
Not only that, they also build your personalize website and mobile App for you.
If you don't want to patronize them again, start patronizing me and buy at my own price. I will be glad to have you as one of my customers.

I use them.They are not scam,Their customer service has improved greatly.Like someone said earlier,we have dispense error with using our atms which we get refunds from our banks.I use atms on their site and when i dont get value i raise dispute and i get refunded.

So issues with data and airtime delivery is very minimal.Just payments.This could be attributed to the volume of their transactions.

I saw a comment on after paying to their account ,you notify with date of payment and et al


Lets also give them time for resolution of issues than jumping to conclusion.

I had an experience with one of my banks ,i did a mail to them there was an autogenerated mail that it would be responded to in 24hrs,i never got response until 3weeks after.It had to do with payments,but i never called them scam because i know its difficult to manage humans .customer services.

Testing mode continue to clear doubt of Thomases.
I tried clubkonnect service today to renew my dstv Yanga package subscription. I topped up d wallet with 5k with ease, no delay. Then went on to renew my dstv subscription for N2482.50 (instead of N2500). Clubkonnect, ur android app doesn't v DStv Yanga listed, work on this. I used a browser for the DStv Yanga subscription. H/w, my viewing days v not increased despite next payment date is showing 8 June. Y clubkonnect? See d screenshots below b4 n after payment from my wallet.

In conclusion. My 2nd experience was smooth.

Deposit into your account using your ATM via flutterwave gatepayment on their website..DO it three times then comeback here and modify your comment.

Tnx to Covid 19 compulsory holiday I checked through Nairaland yesterday. I saw a lot of complaints about clubkonnect's customer service. They need to work on customer service department. Issue of delay in crediting customer's wallet after paying to their bank account is abound. Interswitch platform to top up ur wallet with ATM card, dy added to remove this delay didn't help, also littered with payment failure. Another problem is delay in getting value for ur money (data, airtime, cable TV subscription) after payment from ur clubkonnect wallet. Some of these complaints are beyond clubkonnect. They could be network issue or related . Things could still go south even when you tried ur best. For example Access bank debited me TWICE for a Visa card I did not apply for. It's over a month now Access bk hasn't refunded me despite regular feedbacks to them via email and Twitter. Atimes we experience dispense errors from various bank ATMachines. Yet we don't tag our banks s.c.a.m.m.e.r.s. Our online payment system in Nigeria sucks . Luckily for me I didn't experience any delay. Topping up was smooth and data I bought was sent instantly.

My advice to clubkonnect :

--- improvement in customer service, dy can make use of online channels like Twitter and Facebook messager. Issues will come because of our poor online payment system. Dy mustn't be abusive or provocative. Polite polite polite to customers. Customers too should give them time (48hrs window on weekdays and 72hrs for weekends ) to resolve issues. How dy handle issues can mar or make them. It is left to clubkonnect

--- Create a dedicated Nairaland thread where customers can come to logde complaints since most customers get their issues resolved on this platform.

Go and check their reviews on playstore.. its worst. I fell a victim last week, they debited me twice.. I sent a mail to them they credit me back. After a week THEY debited me again. Asin they remove money from my card. That means they saved it on their database

1. There are trusted xchangers in various business threads
2. There are thieves waiting for you to fall to their trick and do a way with your hard earned money

How to identify the trusted xchangers

1. There are people that have a great reputation in this business here. I will mention few. Knowing them is a step to avoid scammer. However, it's not 100% guarantee, but it's better than not having the list.

How to identify scam

1. A scammer don't usually write details such as number etc about themselves in their profile
2. They usually offer mouthwatery trade e.g selling bitcoin at 400/$ when others are selling at 450 or 500
3. Their mobile number if typed on google brings out information different from what they tell you
4. Their profile is usually new - few months, a year or 2 years old
5. They usually have little or no posts
6. They are always in a hurry during transaction.
7. They use different names and different accounts
8. Block your number immediately after you transfer money to them
9. They sometime come in the name of religion, calling themselves convenat child of God, commited muslim...blah..blah..blah
10. The greedy scammer engages in legit xchange for some period in order to earn your trust and burst you BIG
11. They send money from bank account different from their name. This is MITM technique beware.
12. They write on the thread false scam story so that you would let your guard down when dealing with them
13. They send customise SMS claiming a trusted member vouch for them or false bank SMS alert
14. They sometime claim they don't have nairaland account in order to protect thier moniker.
15. They sometimes claim they can not quote you because antispam bot bans their username. Don't be fooled

How to prevent yourself

1. Trade with trusted xchanger ONLY - This is not 100% guarantee though, but it's more advisable than blind dealing OR
2. Obtain as many vouch as possible before your deal OR
3. Use ESCROW incase you are trading with less trusted fellow
4. Research on identity of the fellow you want to trade with i.e don't rely 100% on my list - confirm my list from your little research
