It was sweet revenge for the Malabites, after a re-enactment of the 2018 finals, which
they lost to UAM Tillers.

On the 22 of June 1994 , Yekini scored Nigeria’s first ever goal at the World Cup in a 3-0 win against Bulgaria , his goal celebration became an iconic part of the USA 94 World Cup . His 37 goals in 58 appearance for the Male National Team earned him the highest goal scorer in the history of the National Team .
