pls which 4g ntwk does it support in 9ja
Mine support Airtel 4G, 9mobile 4G and MTN 4G. Though you can only get MTN 4G and Glo 4G where they are using band 3 for transmission.

Please learn to make your point with out using offensive words, really shows how immatured you are, am not your problem, am not custom neither do I shortlist or employ use Ur hq and learn how to relate with people.
You are the one showing immaturity here because you are taking it personal. You made a mistake of discriminating a particular tribe, if you can't take corrections then you rather keep quiet by not qouting or commenting. In this thread, we are all equal and one, we don't discriminate anyone from different region, religion or tribe. We are all here for one thing. If you once lived in Abuja, that doesn't mean you know the Northerners.

On the notification issue, I think I saw something like that on XDA . Tho I can't remember if it was solved or not.. But you can just go there and check . I'm sure you'll find something to help.
The notification issue is a general problem on almost all the Oppo, Realme and Oneplus phones, the problem is from the stock OS. Maybe the new UI will also solve that or future updates that might be released. But on my custom rom, I receive all notifications from my apps.

Realme are trying their best, they are competing with Xiaomi by following their footsteps. But over throwing Xiaomi, I doubt that because it's not something easy.

Guess you either didn't comprehend Olayinkajnr message you you are feeling too hurt to let go. Ye moniker in question meant no harm, perhaps you misinterpreted his intentions.
There are several ways to kill a mosquito without using a sledge hammer, there are several ways to convey a message without subtle jabs in it
If you are still feeling hurt, in behalf of the moniker.... I am sorry. Let bygones be bygones... Are we cool?
I'm sorry too to everyone here. We are cool!

olayinkajnr:
I get your point. The onus remains that we can all say or type what's on our mind without insults.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't make your feelings known if there's an insult on your person.

In this case, you are guilty (sorry for using that word) of trying to start another round by throwing subtle jibes. I'm glad you admitted that earlier when you quoted me.
Of course I'm guilty of acting this way for not letting go off things. Like I said it's annoying and that's all.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Efcc Recruitment by Muhammadbiee(m): 11:08am On Jan 18, 2020
Came across these but I can't confirm whether it is true or not.

olayinkajnr:
Well, I don't believe people here are arrogant. It depends on your perception about people in general. The way you see it, they are arrogant simply because you don't understand them, but to them, they are not.

The person you are even referring to meant no harm but I guess we all have different ways we react to things.

On this thread, I haven't come across any arrogant person. Maybe because I tend to understand the kind of person they are. But I've come across trolls. Those that don't have anything better to do with their time than to denigrate brands especially when they don't use it. I don't take those kind of people serious.
Mind you I didn't say everyone here is ignorant. I believe we are all here to learn and benefit from the knowledge of one another. I may post something here that you may not have knowledge of it, by you not having the knowledge on that thing I posted doesn't mean what I posted is wrong. If you can't even confirm on the truthfulness of what I posted, then the best for you is not to even comment or qoute on the post. But falsifying directly on the post without confirmation and even emphasizing on your falsification, then that's ignorance. Some are even waiting for you to post something different from what they now, so that they can start the argument just to prove they know everything.

olayinkajnr:
If you don't comment this way, will you die?

What's the essence of all these subtle jibes at someone?

Humans have really denigrated to a new low and you are a testament to that. Must you comment with jibes?

"Sure" is enough. I have said this on this thread but no believed me is another way it can be constructed. But no, we must add that jibes so the person concerned will know you are referring to him and another round of insults and argument will start.

Learn to let go of things else you'll be guilty of the same thing you accuse someone of.
I know I shouldn't acted that way but it's just annoying dealing with arrogant people.

A lot of differences. Like I said, till he flashes a custom rom. I was on stock before too and I will only return back to stock after the new ui is being released for my model.

I swr.. I ain't rooting shii. lemme flex phone small first...

my main issue is just that lack of Google convenience... even after installing the google apps, it just doesn't feel like a normal google-support phone...
plus, am I the only having notification issues? most of my apps don't send notifications to my notification bar even after activating it for all the apps.. it's until u enter the app before you'll see notifications popping up
Hmmm, you won't know you have been missing a lot till you flash a stable custom rom.

Well MTN might have been secretly using Band 3 for a long time now. One thing to note is that Band 20 seems to easily take over from this band whenever available. So, it is actually hard getting a lockdown on Band 3 when Band 20 is available and strong.
Sure! Have said this earlier on this thread and someone was arguing ignorantly thinking he knows everything. The truth will always reveal itself.

There is no need for now. Maybe later when it has much support.

tinnyailes:
I know that but it comes with issues like inability to use fingerprint sensor
Yes, that's on Color OS. Whenever you unlock your bootloader, the fingerprint stops working. Because the fingerprint work with the status of your bootloader, but like I said that's on Color OS. If you flash any custom rom after, you can still continue to use your fingerprint.

I'm talking bouh the Chinese variant of realme x2
Currently no custom roms for the phone because developers are yet to lay there hands on the phone. But Realme X2 Chinese Variant already have support both on XDA and 4PDA, it already has a stable custom recovery and you can root the phone.

he's probably referring to the Chinese variant
I'm using a Chinese Variant of Realme 5 Pro which is Realme Q. I have already unlocked my bootloader and flashed several custom roms and gsi roms. Currently on root, I don't know where he got his information from!

My note 4 just packed up. All thanks to an app named 'network signal guru'. It was fun while it lasted
I have faced such issue before. Calm down, just reflash the phone with a stock rom and it will come up. I once cautioned people about using the app. The app can lock a particular band on your phone, any band you choose to lock the phone with depending on the bands your phone can support. It automatically have access to the QCN of your phone which consist of the data bases and prop build files. This causes some system images to be corrupt and your phone will be dead.

I called it yeye not because of the product but because realme was created specifically to compete with redmi phones ogbeni
This is what the end consumers will always want because whenever there is this kind of competition, it mostly favors the end consumers. Same strategy in different approach Xiaomi applied in gaining more share in the Indian Mobile market to beat Samsung in the Indian Smartphone Industry. Xiaomi has forever changed the Indian Smartphone Industry and continuously changing the mobile market across the globe. Realme on the other hand are competing with Xiaomi by following their footsteps.

Oga don't start this here please.
Seriously ? I don't have issues with anyone here. I think you are the problem here, I don't have time to argue with you or anyone. I am here to benefit from the thread, not to argue just like you want to argue with everyone. I've used Mi A2, Redmi Note 7 & Note 8 and Redmi has earned my respect which I even recommend the brand to family and friends. I am not limited to using of One Brand only, as far as I have the money to buy any phone, I can which ever brand it is. But take note, I've never used any transsion phone in my life like wise Samsung. I've used LG, Sony, Motorola, LEeco, Nokia, Huawei & Honor, Xiaomi, Lenovo and Realme. I am a fan of Redmi and can recommend and defend the brand anywhere I go but that doesn't mean we should turn blind in saying the truth. Just as you think you have experience, also others might have the experience that you don't have. Let's say the truth always and there won't be any argument here.

Well they currently use oppo's color os 6.1 and will soon be upgraded to version 7 which is rumoured to be more better and based on android 10.

And as a user of the current os, I can tell you it isn't as bad as I first thought too. Tho definitely, there's room for much more improvement which hopefully we expect in the next versions.

The thing now is even if realme start their own UI, everyone still can't be satisfied (including me). But that's where XDA forum comes in, which means you can always root your device and flash any custom ROM of your choice on the phone.

But trust me , apart from the os which tho isn't the best but still manageable , realme offers the best value for money phones right now. Which if they continue will see them challenging top brands like Xiaomi globally( tho they are already doing that in India). smiley
Sure Bro! Enjoying my Realme Q to the fullest, currently on Pixel Experience Plus based on Android 9. It's stable, I get 6 to 7 hours SOT on heavy usage while 10 hours and above on minimal usage. Realme is gaining popularity day by day across the globe, there is currently a group on Telegram for Realme 5 pro / Realme Q users with thousands of members. The amazing thing here is we are making some donations to buy the phone and give some developers which they will be providing us with stable custom roms, custom kernels, custom recoveries and stable GCAMs.

Please, what can you say about this Lenovo Z6 lite?
Lenovo Z6 Lite is also good in every aspect. The only downside of the phone is the lack of software development and support from Lenovo. Lenovo abandon their phones, they don't update them. The only chance of you enjoying the phone is by flashing official custom roms or gsi roms. It's a powerful phone, you'll enjoy the phone if you won't worry about the shitty stock rom.
