The Prophet said: The best of you are those who are best to their women. Also on the issue of forced marriage, there is a hadith of the Prophet that says: The matron(previously married woman) has more rights regarding herself and the virgin's consent must be sought and her consent is her silence. Thus, it is not proper to compel a woman into marriage where she doesn't approve. 2 Likes |
