Good morning, all.

Please I need some insight on British Citizenship.

Can a child born in the UK while his/her parents have Tier2 visa (before receiving ILR), claim/become a UK citizen after the parents have stayed for five years and received the ILR?

For instance, the parents had just spent one year in the UK after coming in with a three-year Teir 2 visa and gave birth in the second year of the visa. Can they apply and get citizenship for the child after five years of stay and receiving the ILR?

Thanks.

Thanks man.

I am learning fast.

Just to confirm I still understand English, you're advising that I change the bumper and other parts completely (whenever I am ready) instead of working on them at the moment?

PAQ:

Ah! Sorry for the minor accident, pause on doing any body work on the car for now, hold on till towards the end of the year so that incase you happen to have any other minor body repairs you can have it all don at once.

Avoid working on any replaceable part (bumper, fender, bonnet etc) they are not too expensive to replace. Its cheaper to work on and may look good at first but over time it shows its ugliness.

YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SCREWED IN THE CAR angry
Car Talk / Re: Just Got My First Car - Any Advise For Me? by mukatic: 2:17pm On Mar 31, 2021
LOL! I don bash the car oooo, as a learner.

I would have to work on the bumper much later when I don advance.

PAQ:
DONT BASH IT!
DONT SCREW IN IT!

Research about your car.
Use the right oils as prescribed by the manufacturer.
Change oils at when due.

Drive like a gentleman.

Good Evening, Fam.

I just got a tokunbo 06 Accord as a first time owner.

I noticed the following and wanted to find they are normal or abnormal.

1. Car revs (changes sound at interval) when the AC is on, especially, when it's parked.

2. Car makes noise when you release the brake either to reverse or drive. It's much when I release gradually.

3. There is a slight "cricket sound" when the AC is on.

Are these experiences now?

Okay.

Thanks

BigDawsNet:
Replace the engine oil after some few month

Check the tires

All replacement will be perfect

If you notice any little issue don't hesitate to check it out

And drive safely

Good 08-10 toks were between 2.7 - 3.2m.

The Nigerian used cars (CRV and Accord) I inspected were not in great shape.

So, I opted for a toks Accord.

mekzyjoe:

How much were you told of the said Honda CR-V?
Car Talk / Re: Just Got My First Car - Any Advise For Me? by mukatic: 5:58pm On Mar 29, 2021
Really?

Do I need to remove the mobil and abro oil? They poured them into the engine just last week.

jideflash:
mobil oil and abro power steering oil is not recommended and will damage your car in the long run. this is why we have so many honda users complaining about steering issues. mechanics and dealers will advise you to use cheap alternatives that can work well with other cars, dont try it with honda o. Follow the car manual.

Cheers, bro.

One bullion van for you grin

Drop your address, make Tinubu send am.

tellwisdom:

1.Always check your radiator water before leaving your house.

2.Call the mechanic once u notice any strange sound; mostly the legs.

3. Don’t at any time be tempted to speed even if the road is wide and free for you alone.

4. Service your car every 3-4months if need be.
5. Don’t give any police man a lift.

6. Do not drink and drive
7. Do not wind down when you find yourself in an unsafe place.

8. Ask questions if you do not know your way.

9. Use google map if need be.((Internet needed)
10. Prayyyyyyyyyyyyyy before and after your outings.

Do not fail to buy me beer when you see me. Cheers

Wow! 4th Accord?

Thanks for the advise.

What are the original fluids for Honda engine, transmission and power steering?

The dealer and mechanic recommended Mobil oil and abro power steering oil, which have were used for the first servicing. Hope those were right?

jideflash:
I concurrently use same car. This is my 4th accord and I can tell you it's a reliable car if well maintained. 1st of all. Only use original honda fluids for engine oil, transmission, and power steering. DONT PUT CHEAPER ALTERNATIVES.

Greetings to you!

After much considerations, inspections and bargaining, I finally got my first car - 2006 Honda Accord (Toks).

Initial desire was to get a Toks Honda CRV ( 2007 - 2010), but funds and the current economic realities of the country halted that. But here we are with a toks 06 Accord.

For old time car owners grin, what precautions do I have to take? What and what should I know and do to maintain the car well.

Stay tuned for refreshment details.

Travel / Re: After 7 Million Naira Savings, What Is NEXT, UK Or Canada? by mukatic: 10:22pm On Mar 21, 2021
You've tried for yourself, having a savings of N7m.

But, honestly, it's a small amount of money on the global. It's barely $15,000 at the market exchange rate of N470/$...Small money for international fees.

My advise, continue with the business you're doing in Nigeria while training yourself or upskilling in I.T here.

Udemy, Datacamp, Coursera, et all are good. When you're well grounded in those I.T skills, you can apply for jobs outside Nigeria and they will foot your relocation bill.

That way, you'd have advanced your life here in Nigeria and also boost your prospect for international penetration.

Best!

A little back story.
I am a 36 YO guy with no university certificate, was too wayward to finish school in FUTO then, left school in my 2nd year for a 4 year course.

Tried my hands on business years later and currently have 7M naira saved.
Now, I want to go for degree and eventually start a family .
I am considering seeking admission in a UK or Canadian school. Luckily, I have sponsors .

For a guy of my age , looking to study IT related course or physiotherapy and eventually seeking residency, would you recommend UK or Canada?
Please I need supported answers.

Thank you all.

This only reflect this gross disdain and abuse of laws and policies amongst Nigerians, not just the ruling class.

The academia can't honour a basic request for information on a social anomaly, yet they will scream at the government for not obeying court orders and abusing citizens' rights.

We are all deceiving ourselves in this country.

Today's RULERS were once FOLLOWERS.

The habits we nurture today will become unconscious tomorrow.

For those who have relocated abroad with their spouse, was it compulsory that your marriage certificate was from the Ikoyi Registry, Lagos?

Can I use the marriage certificate from any local government registry in Nigeria?

Thanks
