The 52-year-old Dutchman will take over from interim manager Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season on a three-year contract that can be extended by a year.

Rangnick, who took over for the fired Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November, is set to become a consultant.

Ten Hag will be the club's fifth permanent manager since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement in 2013.

Solskjaer was fired following a 4-1 loss at Watford, which dropped United to seventh in the table.

Rangnick has led United to nine wins, six draws, and four defeats in 19 league games since taking over on December 3rd.

Atletico Madrid knocked them out of the Champions League in the last 16 and they were knocked out of the FA Cup in the fourth round by Championship side Middlesbrough.

Rangnick stated after United's 4-0 league loss to Liverpool on Tuesday that the club may require up to ten new players this summer.

The All Progressives Congress has set a N100 million budget for its presidential nomination and expression of interest forms.

Felix Morka, the party's national publicity secretary, made the announcement shortly after the 11th National Executive Meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.

The nomination form will cost N70 million, while the expression of interest form will cost N30 million.

In response to an earlier announcement by the party's national women's leader, Betta Edu, that women would receive free nomination forms, Morka stated that women are entitled to free nomination forms but must pay for expression of interest forms. Pakistan Court Sentences 6 Men to Death for Killing Sri Lankan

 An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan has sentenced six men to death and nine others to life in prison for lynching a Sri Lankan factory manager, who they accused of insulting Islam.

The court announced the verdict Monday, sentencing 72 additional suspects to "rigorous" jail terms of two years each. Another person received five years' imprisonment for his role in the fatal mob assault on Priyantha Kumara in December.

The incident took place in the industrial Sialkot district in Punjab province, where Kumara had worked as an export quality control manager at a sporting goods factory for 10 years before being tortured and burned by hundreds of coworkers as well as local activists of a radical Islamist group.

The slain man was accused of desecrating and removing posters bearing the Prophet Muhammad's name from factory walls before informing others about the allegedly blasphemous act. However, investigators later concluded that the accusations were unfounded and that Kumara was murdered simply for instructing workers to follow factory regulations.

The brutal murder of a foreigner sparked widespread outrage and condemnation, with demands that the perpetrators be publicly hanged, prompting Pakistani authorities to quickly arrest and charge dozens of suspects.

Israr Ullah, a defense lawyer, said the special court held the trial inside a prison in the provincial capital, Lahore, for security reasons before announcing the verdict on Monday.

Although mob lynchings of alleged blasphemers are common in Pakistan, the attack on the Sri Lankan national was the first involving a foreigner.

Kumara's employer announced in January that it would pay his salary, approximately $1,700 per month, to his widow for the next ten years, while the Sialkot business community donated and transferred $100,000 to her account separately.

Blasphemy is a highly sensitive issue in majority-Muslim Pakistan and carries the death penalty under local laws, though no one has been executed to date because lower court convictions are frequently overturned by the higher judiciary.

Critics have long called for the laws to be changed, claiming that they are being abused by powerful members of society and religious fanatics in order to intimidate the country's religious minorities and pressure opponents into settling personal feuds.
