Thank God for a safe delivery...... not a good story teller but will try my best..........
On Wed May 30th 2018 I went to work as usual. I was having slight abdominal pains but thought they were braxton hicks as usual and they would stop.....
In fact after work I went to the market cos I seriously wanted to eat banga rice......
By 5pm I tried to sleep since the pain was still there but it didn't allow..... decided to count it maybe they were contractions but they were so irregular I just forget.....
By 10pm the pain was still there so called DH cos he travelled and we decided to just watch at least till 11pm.....
By then pain still remained and I decided to go to the hospital cos I didn't want to remain in the house alone. At least there I would be checked . Better safe than sorry....... I decided to carry my bags cos we had to call DH friend to carry me.
Only for me to get there doctor said I was 4cm.....

Chia..... 4cm
Pain that was bearable suddenly I started crying I don't know why oh.....
But I prayed for strength esp since I was alone without DH. I calmed down oh and even fell asleep sef.... The doctor came to meet me to check for contractions since I dey sleep .....

Anyway by 1am he decided to burst my water to hasten labour... and my dear sisters that was when I saw heaven and came back.....
The pain was horrible....
Jehovah stood by me and answered my prayers cos by 3am I was already shouting "pupu" oh
I was given a cut and my Prince came out screaming.....
The doctor was surprised about how fast I progressed cos it's supposed to be slow esp for a ftm.......

I pray for safe delivery to us all......

Saturday 19th May I was about sleeping when I realized I was having waist pains slept and woke up midnight 20th with contractions but the timing weren't consistent.The pains continued till morning then hubby asked me to go take a warm bath and we proceeded to the hospital. On getting there the contractions had stopped and my sister already told me it Will reverse cos of the bath.I got to the hospital and the nurse checked me and said I was 2cm at that point i wasn't feeling anything any more so we just checked in and decided to monitor things.
A Dr came in around 10am and was told I was 2cm and he said I can't give birth that day I will be induced after 8hrs hmmm induction how?My sister told him she is always like that before they know it she gives birth.That statement angered the Dr o and he left.From that morning till night nobody came to check or attend to me. My sister left in the evening and I was left alone after enough walking for hours I went to rest.The Dr came back around 10pm at night for ward round and checked everyone except me,I noticed he was offended by the statement my sister made and something told me i should just swallow my pride and call him.which I.Immediately I said Dr you've checked everyone except me he said your mother said you will give birth in the next few hrs I would have induced you in the afternoon,i was like hmmm so I should just be here without anyone attending to me?He now said I will check you when am done and do a membrane sweep.
What was he doing? My sisters Dr was listening to a radio program with his phone.He called me around 10:20 into delivery room and did it ohhh boy that thing was painful!!!! I went to sleep and by 11 contractions started o the real thing and by past 4am the pains became unbearable Dr and nurses don take different beds hang mosquito nets everywhere sleep better sleep I was on my own o.Labour pain is one pain that can't be compared to pain.I kept bearing it and at a point I started calling nurse nurse but no one answered me until I felt like pooing I decided if I don't shout I will give birth on that bed.I shouted nurse I want to poo one of the nurses said get up and follow me.At that point I couldn't stand up but I kept feeling that urge.A woman whose daughter gave birth the previous day day heard me and woke up walked up to me and carried me up to the delivery room before the nurses and Dr followed.
The nurse checked me and I was 7cm they all started running around o.The one that went for drip,injection and all what not. They fixed the drip and I shouted I want to push o,the nurses said don't push yet allow the drip to finish. It took less than 5 mins the drip was finished and they fixed the second drip and before she finished my sisters I pushed and baby was out pheeeew I couldn't believe it.They kept her on my body and went for the placenta which wasn't coming out and they started stitching me that was were the real pain started. I was stitched without injection I screamed my longs out.After stitching me they she went for the placenta which finally came out and I was cleaned and I walked back to the room alone feeling very weak and dizzy and the pain was out of this world.
I asked the Dr to give me drugs for the pain and he did after begging and begging because there was no one with me.someone offered to help me get the drug which they finally gave me and after few minutes I noticed I was bleeding seriously and was taken back to the delivery room and they pumped out blood from my body again and I died again.My people the pains I felt on the 21st of May is something I can't explain but in all my beautiful daughter gave me strength. I felt a new level of love for someone I was meeting for the first time.She's adorable.
I had tear up to my anus,I am having pile that won't make me control poo which am still battling, am having pains all over but I can't be grateful enough for this wonderful gift God has blessed me with.I was told a year ago that I can't get pregnant due to multiple fibroids but today I have a daughter.Drs say it's a Miracle so we decided to name Miracle. To all mamas waiting for their los I congratulate you all in advance.

Pelvimetry is done only by routine xray or ct.
Any other examination is not pelvimetry .

They xray ur pelvic bones den measure and calculate if. the baby can pass thru or u might nid a cs if ur bones are tightly packed and below a certain figure .

Dont fret.there is always a good and serious reason for it to be requested

I did CT pelvimetry in 2016 at the rate of 12k. Safe and comfortable..

Pls I have a rape victim with me, armed men/robbers entered the house, during the robbery She was deflowered. This event happened on Friday morning 2am. On Saturday she saw her period, according to her it was meant to last for 5days but it ended in three 3 days, meaning that it stop on Tuesday .....

Pls help, I don't know what to do,

NOTE..That Friday morning after the attack I went to the chemist and got her postinor 2

The pelvimetry I did was a scan, it wasn't radiological. I don't know which is more accurate. You can opt for a scan if you are not comfortable with an X-ray

If its pelvimetry then you should be safe. Its a routine third trimester exam.

Abeg o, this month alone, I have experienced back leg cramp (muscle pull) like 3 times. Very painful something like that, and it usually happen when i'm sleeping. To the extent that when I wake up, I will still be feeling the pain. Though it happened to me once during my first pregnancy, but this one now is becoming too much for me. What can I take or do to stop it please. Its painful seriously.

Team June, a team like no other
By now everyone of us should be ready with our bags packed as we are closer to the D-day than we think.

Around 11am on Friday I decided to wash since it has stopped raining. While walking to the bathroom I felt water gushing out of me. I just stood there wondering if am urinating abi my water just broke. My SIL said I should go to the hospital but I told her it was probably urine that I wasn't feeling any pain nor contractions. I sha decided to go after my second SIL called me. I jejely took my time to brush and bath. while at it my SIL kept on calling urging me to hurry up ( I was like Wetin dey worry this woman abi na she wan go born the pikin). I got dressed and decided to trek instead of entering bus since it was just 20mins walk from my house. After explaining to doctor, He put his hand into my something and brought out some reddish discharge saying I shouldn't wait for any bloody show that he took it out already. He sent my file to Labour ward saying I should call home for my bag( Labour ward keh? ) While the nurse was admitting me I told her I want to go home but she assured me that I was in Labour. She inserted the hot drip and asked me to lay with my side. SIL came with my bag then she said I shouldn't scream nor cry o unless I want to cry in each of my delivery. I was admitted by 2pm, after about an hour Na so contration start ooo hmmm it wasn't funny but I kept bearing it until I couldn't anymore. I told the nurse to call my husband for me o( I wanted him to see what I was passing through) She told me to call on God instead that my husband cannot do anything for me. if only she knew that all thru the process that I've been begging God to make it easy for me. I sha left the nurse alone while concentrating on my pains. I asked a lady I met in the ward if this is how painful Labour is but she said she don't know that she's also a FTM. The contractions started coming a min apart and I felt the urge to poo. I started shouting nurse come o I want to shit o, I want to piss o in fact I don't know the one I want to do o. she check me and said she feels the baby head, called the doctor while she took me to the delivery bed. Doctor came and told me how to push. I pushed with all my strength but he said I was just making noise not pushing. That I shouldn't make any sound but push. After the 3rd Push I felt my baby slipped out then plancenta followed. I was asked to bath while they cleaned up my baby.

It was a painfully beautiful experience because immediately my baby came, the pains vanished and I felt nothing but joy

My prayers are with all our GTC mothers . The God who made me a mother will visit you soon
